Sunday divisional playoff kickoffs were 1:00/4:30 - now will be 3:00/6:30 - sweet.

Also singleheader rule is changed so now every market will get 3 afternoon games.
Sometimes you would only get 2 if local team was home.

More and More games that are on the local networks the less of a reason we have for Sunday Ticket

NFL SUNDAY TICKET $293.94/season 2+
NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX $395.94/season 3+

Prices are just getting crazy stupid for this.

My sentiments exactly. I have mixed emotions on this...I've had it from the second I moved to GA to be able to watch my out of market garbage team so I've got an attachment to it, but then I get, ahem, a damn good deal on it so...

Well the price increase last year was due to AT&T purchasing DTV and upping the price. The NFL at this point should not make it a sub based item. NFL would be smart to take Sunday ticket and break it up. IE 5 dollars per game per week if someone wants to watch a specific out of market game on ANY provider. They would make a fortune off this. Lose the exclusivity and just be done with the package.

The NFL can choose to opt out of the existing agreement this year (2019)

I just call up and complain. They usually give me a credit. Just got the new Epix channels added for free and they knocked off $20/month for the 6 month Ticket charge.
I like DTV, but have been pretty let down since the AT&T merger. Their CS was so much better prior to the merger, imo.

Fools pays retail.

Just read all the posts at dbstalk - most get discount $$credits to take alot of $$ off & some even get it free once all the discounts are added up.

Before i went to fios/redzone i had sunday ticket 6 yrs never paid more than $50 a yr.

I actually like redzone better cause even here in ny 11-12 cowboys games are on anyways + with the ticket i felt like i was missing something switching around games - now redzone does all the work for me & i miss nothing.

Yeah, when I moved in 2016 and called to cancel DTV all they were willing to offer me was a $20 credit for 6 months and 3 free months of HBO. I said I'd stay if they offered Sunday Ticket but the rep said she couldn't do that so I canceled because Dish was about $65 less per month.

Never had regular satellite, so never had Sunday ticket.. but at this point, it seems unnecessary.

With redzone I feel the ticket is completely screwing people over with it's cost. I pay 10 bucks extra a month for xfinitys sports package which includes red zone. Why pay 200-300 for the ticket, I find myself watching red-zone more then watching then the local game showing my team to be honest.

Isn’t the NFL expected to opt out of their current deal with DirecTV after this season anyway?

Hard to imagine Amazon getting outbid in that scenario.

Last i heard the NFL were looking for more ways to stream it. The problem with cable co. having ST is that their system can't handle all games at once due to limitations in bandwidth. its not that simple, DTV for example has to shut off a number of PPV channles in order to accomodate ST and cable co. have a lot less bandwidth to move stuff around. Other than DTV i think only (maybe) Dish could do it.

The NFL awarded the 2021 draft to Cleveland and the 2023 draft to Kansas City (2022 hasn't been awarded yet).
