Always thought that would be a great tv show.
When someone famous gets in trouble (which seems to happen like every 20 mins) have them take a lie detector live on national tv.
If youre innocent would really sway court of public opinion in your favor.
If not....
Who wouldnt watch that.

Quote:
"Mike is one of the most successful head coaches in the National Football League and we are confident in his leadership to continue to lead our team as we pursue our goal of winning another championship," said Steelers president Art Rooney in a statement released Thursday. The Steelers have been to two Super Bowls (winning one) under Tomlin, who took over in 2007 following the retirement of long-time head coach Bill Cowher. Despite making the playoffs in eight of his 12 seasons atop the Pittsburgh coaching ranks, Tomlin has received criticism for failing to control the team's toxic locker room, resulting in messy feuds with both Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. He's the third-longest tenured coach in the NFL behind Bill Belichick and Sean Payton.

Rooney is probably praying every day that he doesn’t have to fire Tomlin. That would be one interesting HC interview process.
So the two big egos, and playmakers are gone. Ben won the power struggle and has a few years left...if that. Lol, I will need extra popcorn for this.

IMO, Tomlin should have already been gone, but perhaps they're tying his departure to when they suspect Ben will retire so they can start fresh.

I was impressed with Jonathan Allen’s interview. He has mastered the art of saying a lot but not really saying much.

Allen's a good leader and player stuck in Washington. And the front office's obsession with Alabama means more than a few promising careers will fizzle into nothingness. Shame.

Looks like Quinnen's about to sign.

Also, the DAL plane is headed to Oxnard, CA and Zeke's not on it (although he could fly in later as other players have done in the past).

Cowboy fans seems to be handling this well.

Bosa and Q just signed, AMEN. Now it's time for some football and none of this signing BS.

Still have Deebo Samuel unsigned. Really don't understand the holdup on getting a second round pick signed. Should be a very straightforward process.

Edit: Nevermind, apparently Samuel just signed too.

I'm done with Zeke. Too inconsistent at scoring and generating big plays. Too many off-field issues. Just sign Jay Ajayi and move on already.

Zeke doesn't have much leverage here.

Yeah they should figure out how to sign Ajayi ASAP and watch the rest of Zeke's leverage vanish.

Is the Dallas OL really good enough that you can just plug in Ajayi (or anyone else) and get production similar to Zeke’s? I kinda doubt it.

Obviously if they have to choose between paying Zeke and paying Dak, they have to go with the QB. But Zeke’s gonna try to get as much money as he can while he’s in his prime and Dallas should probably at least try to keep him.

But if they don’t, I won’t complain It would kinda sting to see Ajayi in a Dallas uniform though. I wanted us to keep him.

They have to pay Dak, no question. RB’s are the worst position to holdout. They are so replaceable.

The Falcons done effed up. If they were smart, they'd bust their asses to get Julio signed ASAFP before the Michael Thomas deal is struck or they could be spending a lot more than they wanted to.

Which is exactly why Amari Cooper is waiting.

The Falcons couldn't sign Julio to a new deal until today because they renegotiated his deal last year on July 26 and you can't renegotiate deals more than once in a year. There's a strong belief that the Falcons and Julio already have a deal since he reported to camp, so it wouldn't be a surprise if a new deal is announced today. Still you're right that they should get it done before Thomas' deal happens because the price is only going to go up the longer they wait.

Amari is being smart by waiting to sign a new deal as long as Dak is unsigned. The best thing that could happen to him is Dak doesn't sign a new deal because the Cowboys would have to franchise Dak and Amari would be an unrestricted free agent, which rarely happens with young, top of the line players. Of course there's injury risk with that strategy, but there's no urgency for him to sign an extension unless it's a deal that makes him close to the highest paid receiver in the league.
