Eagles/Ravens was cut short due to an incoming thunderstorm. Packers/Raiders played on an 80-yard field. Yay dress rehearsal week!

The mock auctions I've been running have lots of people still paying quite a bit for him. As high as $72 out of a $200 budget.

Huge Raiders fan here too! To me they will ALWAYS be the "Oakland Raiders." However I do think Las Vegas is a great fit for the Raiders. The whole "Bad boys of the NFL make Sin City their home" narrative is just too perfect! I would love nothing more than for the Raiders to give the city of Oakland a championship as their parting gift!

My dad is a lifelong Raider fan but after the move to LA and back he said he is done with them now. It would be nice if they had a good final season for the city and fans though.

So social media is on Eric Reid for his late (dirty) hit on Ben Watson last night. On the surface it seems like your run of the mill late hit but within the last week Watson called Reid out on his comments on the players who are still in the players coalition (Reid essentially has called them sellouts, going back to last season) on top of that last season Reid tried to fight Malcolm Jenkins, another member of the players coalition, before a game. Sensing a trend here.

It was a unneeded cheap shot and he should be forced to sit week one and two minimum by the NFL for it imo! Watson was already down and touched by a panther and he came over lunged with his shoulder and helmet right into Watson helmet. It was about as intentional as it gets, he is lying when he says it was an accident!

I read Reid's statement about him just playing the game fast and hard but then when you watch the replay it just doesn't add up as Watson was clearly down. Couple that with Watson's Tweet earlier this week and Reid going at Jenkins last season and it just adds up to be political on Reid's part. Shame because I liked him back when he was with the Niners and felt they shouldn't have let him walk but get why they did and all of this stuff would've just been more of a headache had he stayed.
I wonder though if the league will be reluctant to take any action against him as it could be seen as retaliation even though the whole matter of kneeling, "collusion", etc. has been settled. Reid will definitely make a big thing about it if he's suspended.

AB's latest helmet grievance hearing has concluded and a decision is likely to come next week.
