If last nights game against the Patriots was an indication of how the Steelers season is going to go, then it's going to be a long season for them. There was no fight in that team during that game.

It would be nice. I don't think DEN has a lot going on offensively and on the defensive side it's pretty much the Von Miller show right? A win is possible.

Garoppolo settled down as the game went on, have to remember this is only his 11th game as a starting QB. He definitely makes some WTF throws, but I do think as the season goes on (and if he stays healthy), he will get better. As for Kittle, he's definitely a beast and the best receiver on the team hands down. Problem is, he's a TE. We need a #1 WR badly. Kittle won't make it through the season if they're always throwing to him. Again, I am confident that as the season progresses and Garoppolo builds a connection with Goodwin, Samuel, Pettis, (where's Taylor?), etc. the passing game will improve. I agree with you on the running game though .

Bosa and Buckner looked good up front, got pressure on Winston BUT the defense on the whole couldn't stop the run for sh-t. Secondary got three picks (two pick 6's) which they only had two total last season. So while there were some positives to takeaway from the game it was still just the first game and in fairness it was against Winston.

Kwon Alexander getting ejected definitely benifited Tampa's run game, but that defensive line was putting so much pressure on Winston, had him rushing throws most of the game. They almost had 2 more INTs (one which could have easily been another pick six). Winston was pretty mobile too, juked a couple of potential sacks, so imagine what they can do to a QB not quite so mobile (Roethlisberger comes to mind). We haven't had a defense that can put that kind of pressure on opposing QB's in a while, so there is potential for a lot of turnovers this season. I'm super excited about this young defense, only going to get better.

It wasn't a pretty game, but they stepped up and made the plays needed to get an important win on the road, something they haven't done much of in the past few years. I know it's hard to after the last few seasons, but you have to stay positive my friend.

On to week 2.

I think the Bengals are going to be a tougher match but 2 -0 sounds nice!!

Dunno anything about how the game went, but the score for Seahawks/Bengals was surprisingly close. Are the Bengals decent or is this just more of Seattle's "yeah yeah, we'll wake up after the bye" shenanigans lol

I always love seeing so many fans jump to conclusions after ONE game.

I've come to wait until Week 3 or 4 to start make judgements.
