It is, he was a model of durability just like his brother, the physical talent simply isn't there anymore. Doesn't help that the Giants have the worst WR corp in the NFL right now.

The pick he threw to Buffalo on that bomb of a throw -- he's still got an arm. But even when he had the weapons, he couldn't make much happen. It's either the O-line or the weapons or the coaching or something. Giants really haven't been the same since that boat pic lol.

Someone on the radio theorized about Eli going to Jax now that Foles is hurt and he's got a relationship with Coughlin, but I doubt it. Giants are better off paying Eli to mentor Daniel Jones.

If the Giants trade Eli Manning to the Jaguars before he retires, the fans will riot.

He has four kids ages 8 and under. He's made his home in New Jersey. He's 38 years old and already won two Super Bowls. Lots of reasons to stay in NJ and not chase a ring.

I've respect him if he didn't whine and cry the moment he was drafted.

In past two days:

Eli Manning benched, Daniel Jones promoted.

Minkah Fitzpatrick traded to Steelers from Dolphins.

Jalen Ramsey requests to be traded.

Ben Roethlisberger placed on IR with elbow injury.

Drew Brees sidelined roughly six weeks with thumb injury.

Anything else?

Still trying to figure out why Pittsburgh made the trade for Fitzpatrick. Do they really think they can contend this season?
Might be a steal for Miami if pick becomes a top 5.

How about Eli Manning to the Jets? Then he doesn't even have to change stadiums.

Trevor Siemian out for the year.

Lol, I could see this scenario happening..

Daniel Jones plays a great game. Fans get excited. Then the following week, he gets hurt (look at this year's trend), and Manning has to come back, lol.

Then maybe they shouldn't have let all their offensive talent leave. Conner and Smith-Schuster will be enough to keep some games interesting. They will probably still be picking in the top 5 in the next draft.

Bell could have stayed. And there's a good chance they aren't even in the top 10 for next year's draft. Don't be so quick to rule them out.

Gallup is slightly less concerning because we're actually deep at WR this year. Xavier Woods hurts a lot unless Donovan Wilson is ready.

It appears that Cam Newton is OUT... though unsure for how long. Seen in walking boot.

Default NFL in 4K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...t-games-in-4k/

For those, like me, who rushed to get a DirecTV 4K receiver several years ago only to wonder when anything worth watching in 4K would be televised in that format, the answer has finally arrived.

DirecTV has announced that 11 Thursday Night Football games will be broadcast in the vastly superior format, beginning with the Week Four contest between the Eagles and Packers.

Other games that will be televised in 4K on Thursday nights are Week Five (Rams at Seahawks), Week Six (Giants at Patriots), Week Seven (Chiefs at Broncos), Week Eight (Washington at Vikings), Week Nine (49ers at Cardinals), Week 10 (Chargers at Raiders), Week 11 (Steelers at Browns), Week 12 (Colts at Texans), Week 14 (Cowboys at Bears), Week 15 (Jets at Ravens).

The move comes at a time when DirecTV’s parent company, AT&T, and the NFL have had a strained relationship, with NFL Network removed from DirecTV NOW and AT&T Uverse — and with the league holding the ability to dump the final two years of the weekly Sunday Ticket package.

Hopefully the prime stream and eventually cable will follow suit.
