I always do 8 teams in the Yahoo Free Leagues. I'm doing beyond wretched so far this year. I had stakes in all the big playmakers that went down. Not an excuse, as I've made some bad decisions about start & sits, and then 1% owned players having 20 point days. Anyway, after week four, those 8 teams are a combined 12-20. So That should make most of you feel better about your teams.

Injuries could derail the season. Amari Cooper can't get separation with a bum ankle. Tyron Smith out a while with high ankle sprain.

Other guys will need to step up.

Against a bottom-7 KC defense, he was held to sub 50%-completion, and against the Browns, he turned the ball over twice, threw severely behind his TE (Marc Andrews) on a 4th and 3 when he (Andrews) had a 1-on-1 matchup on the outside against a linebacker.

Once he goes up against better defenses on a consistent basis, he'll be found out.



Has nothing to do with being a Browns fan. I don't need to be a Browns fan to tell you Andy Dalton sucks. Just as I don't need to be a Browns fan to point out Lamar's early stat padding came against the worst defenses in the league. Again, in his last five matchups, he's faced only two defenses that ranked top-15, and when that has happened, he's 0-2, with an ugly stat line.

A bad QB is a bad QB--and that's exactly what Lamar Jackson is.

NFL opted against full-blown replay review of Chiefs-Lions Hail May

On Sunday, the visual evidence showed Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen apparently shoving Lions receiver Marvin Jones to the ground as the ball was making its descent toward the cluster of players. No flag was thrown.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, NFL senior V.P. of officiating Al Riveron looked at the play but decided not to conduct a full-blown replay review.

Riveron previously explained in an appearance on the #PFTPM podcast that replay review in Hail Mary situations will entail the same relaxed standard that applies on the field when a team launches a wing and a prayer.

“For the most part, everyone understands what’s allowed, what’s not allowed on a Hail Mary,” Riveron said regarding an unofficial exception to pass interference that appears nowhere in the rulebook. “It’s probably fortunate that we’re not putting this play into a box because it’s something when we see it, and when I say ‘we’ I mean the football community from fans to coaches to players to officials, we’ll all agree that that’s a Hail Mary and we’ll understand what’s allowable and what’s not.”

Some would say that an apparent shove to the ground of a receiver who may have had a shot at making the catch would justify at least a closer look at whether the shove happened deliberately or incidentally.

If the play had been reviewed and overturned, the officials would have had to bring both teams out of the locker room for an untimed down from inside the Kansas City five yard line. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce told PFT by phone after the game that he wouldn’t have been surprised by such an outcome, given the crazy, unpredictable way that the game unfolded.

Same guy who overturned a called TD on the field earlier by the Lions did not want to review an obvious PI call which would have given the Lions the ball on the 5 yard line with a chance to win. Makes it even more obvious NFL wanted the Chiefs to win.

Burfict definitely messed up but a full season ban is a bit ridiculous.
I was expecting 5 games BECAUSE of his history. I think the Silver & Black uniform automatically adds on the additional 8 games

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Raiders LB Vontaze Burfict is facing a season-long suspension for his illegal hit on Colts TE Jack Doyle.
While the hit itself may not have been worthy of a season-long suspension, Burfict is a repeat offender who continues to show zero regard for the safety of others. He's been given countless chances to turn over a new leaf but can't seem to play any other way. Burfict will assuredly appeal his suspension, which would be the longest for an on-field act in NFL history, surpassing the five-game ban Albert Haynesworth received for stomping on Andre Gurode's head in 2006. At this point in his career, Burfict's baggage far outweighs whatever value he brings to the field.

Show me the play cause I dont remember it, but 1 play wouldn't have saved the Eagles like it would have saved the Lions yesterday.

AB has filed nine grievances to try and recover all his money.

Among the more hilarious ones is appealing the team fines from Oakland. What's the defense "Yeah I know i skipped practice and sure I threatened the GM and used a racial slur but I shound't be fined for that!"

The dumbest one however is that in addition to asking for all the Oakland guaranteed money and full Patriots signing bonus that he also get paid the 20 million dollar player option for next year too.

Huh? The Eagles barely lost that game. One play definitely could’ve made a difference.

What I mean by my statement is the Lions had the points to win, if that TD had not been called back even with no extra points Lions win 36-34. This was not a case of toss it down the field, this was a case of that stupid we cant decide what the process is so since this team started it all with Calvin were going to say they didnt complete the process even tho others have juggled balls out of bounds before and as along as the ball did not hit the ground it was a TD.

The Eagles required additional time or plays downfield just for a shot at the end zone. As far as I can remember the Eagles did not have any points taken from them like the Lions did.
