I'm not sure of all the details of the Little case but I'll bet he paid off the victim's family. Donte Stallworth did that to escape a similar DUI that killed a man and got like 30 days in jail. Poor people get 5-10 years or more for that kind of thing.

Yeah.... Stallworth did that right after (I think in the off-season if I'm not mistaken... down in Florida) he signed with the Browns.

She has a lawyer working on the case. She's only 22 and in college with no health insurance. I'm just hoping her insurance is good enough to cover the medical bills. She can probably try to sue the guy in civil court. But the drunk driver is an older Asian man who washes dishes for a living and probably has no assets. In Florida there are levels in severity of DUI's. While the .08 minimum DUI level isn't that serious a .20 is extremely serious. Of course the guy is a repeat offender too.

That is unfortunate to say the least. Nothing to show that he'll change his ways. It'll probably end up being a slap on the wrist in the grand scheme.

I'm pretty sick of that argument. Out of the 6 games played within the division, they have 4 left: 2X Rams, 1X Cards and 1X Seahawks.

Was the "stomp" called for, if it was intentional no, truthfully I kinda lean towards it was intentional as it looked that way. But 1 play does not cost a team a game, no the other 10 penalties did a good job of that. 1 Game suspension will not cost the Lions the playoffs if he is even suspended by the league. It is possible his fine may be upwards of 70-100 grand.

There was plenty of back and forth by both teams today as someone from GB also was ejected from the game. Yet its funny noone here seems to comment on that aspect of it. Does Suh need to learn control no, does he need to learn to put himself into better situations... yes

lee was getting molested on that punt coverage and should've had a holding penalty called on the lions players......he was ejected b/c he took a swing w/an open palm....which also wasn't called for.

I'm not too high on the 49'ers, but from what I see, they're just one score down, and they have the ball....... so "exposed" or not, they might still win this one

The best part is most of those came from 3 or 4 man rushes, 49ers' offensive line is over-rated, they allowed 6 sacks against us as well and our pass rush is very inconsistent.

and as far as the thompson comment i made....i honestly wouldn't put it past thompson to trade finnley instead of resigning him.

finnley doesn't fit thompson's mold of a "packer" typically.

Yeah as much as I think having a beastly NT would boost our defense significantly, I wouldn't want him either, I'd rather have the Packers' BJ Raji. Similar level of player, without all the baggage. Ndamukong Suh would've been awesome in the NFL 10-15 years ago but now he's just a dirty player who will "play" his way out of the league sooner or later and be remembered more for his dirty play than the great things he accomplishes.

They have a championship caliber defense but Flacco is too inconsistent to win a championship, that still hasn't changed. This may be the weakest the AFC has been in over 10 years, the power is all in the NFC.

Not at all. The AFC is competitive across the board. It's just the each of the 4 NFC divisions has a whipping boy (Rams 2-8, Vikings 2-8, Panthers 2-8, Eagles 3-7) to get cheap wins off of. With the exception of the Colts (who are obviously tanking the season now) every team in the AFC is at least competitive in their division.

AFC has a race in every division to get to the playoffs.
North:
Ravens 8-3
Steelers 7-3
Bengals 6-4
South:
Texans 7-3
Titans 5-5
East:
Patriots 7-3
Jets 5-5
Bills 5-5
West:
Raiders 6-4
Tebows 5-5
Chargers 4-6
Chiefs 4-6

Every one of those teams is within 2 wins of their division title or of the current wildcat holders. If anything the AFC is more competitive and the NFC just has the bulk of "bad" teams.
