Not sure I get this. If you are a team in need of a decent QB at this point in the season it means you are in the hunt or close to it and the QB position is your missing puzzle piece. New York, Washington, Denver and maybe Miami are my guesses. Yes, they're all out of contention.

What I don't get is why so many think he's this HOF QB sitting out there not playing. As a Bears fan, in his last start, he went like 0-17 and got benched at half time against my Bears when they were total trash. I think the Bears even LOST that game to the back up QB in the 2nd half, they were that bad.

Plus Kap is a d-bag on top of it. Claims he wanted all this change....okay, cool....and then when it came to voting for change, he admitted he didn't even bother to vote. You cannot make change that way dude.

Not sure any team in the dumps wants or needs the constant media circus that would follow having him on the team.

Yes I mean the Giants. Danny Dimes is electric but inconsistent and turns the ball over a lot. I doubt anything will come of Kaepernick's workout. He had 1 really good season years ago and has been terrible aside from that season.

Why would the Giants even consider him? They know Jones is a work-in-progress, if they wanted to bench him then they would've by now. Even with his own limitations, Eli is more viable than Kaep.

Folks already rightfully dismissed why you are wrong about the Giants. WAS has Haskins for the future, who they are being patient before putting him in. Kaep already burned the bridge in DEN as soon as he left SF, Elway was being very accommodating to him and Kaep said no. MIA is in tank mode, are gonna ride Fitzpatrick and have Rosen behind him until they decide where they're sitting in next years draft.

I remember that game vs the Bears. I am not one to defend Kaep but the weather was crazy that game as far as being one of the coldest played, the field was like ice. The game was ugly on both sides and low scoring if I recall correctly. It wasn't all on Kaep

I mean the league settled their grievance case with him earlier this year, Goodell is a fool but as far as the league office is concerned it's on teams who need a QB at this point. But yes having the league schedule a workout for someone out of the league for the past three years is ridiculous but that said the story gets funnier. Kaep's team wanted to do it yesterday since Tuesdays are workout days for teams. The league said no it has to be this Saturday, the day before game day and travel days for visiting teams. Kaep's team asked if it could be next Saturday and the league said no and didn't give a reason why.
