Makes sense, Niners/Packers could decide the top two seeds in the NFC. Just annoying that Eagles/Seahawks won't be on TV unless I go to a bar, which... I mean, you don't have to twist my arm lol

So reps for WAS, DEN, MIA, ATL, DET, TB and DAL will all be at the Kaep workout. So pretty much all places he would be a potential backup at, with maybe the exception of TB since Winston seems to struggle every other week. Also, imagine Kaep kneeling for DAL and a Jerry Jones team, lol
The whole timing of this just seems weird, like why now? Eric Reid says this whole thing comes off as disingenuous, which it does.

Not sure why they didn’t move Green and Atkins at the deadline though.

So the Kaep workout story just gets dumber/weirder - his reps asked the league for a list of what team reps will be present, first they said yes then they backtracked and said no. If this was a PR attempt by the league to look like good guys they sure are effing it up

This whole workout/exhibition thing had to be part of the undisclosed settlement the league and Kaep reached on his grievance. But the NFL has no real interest in bringing Kaep back, and Kaep's team will look for any way to paint the league negatively to bolster their "blackballed martyr" narrative. So all this really does is remind every team of how big a distraction Kaep truly is.

Everyone already knows how Team Kaep plays things when the Seahawks brought him in for a talk and someone from Team Kaep leaked everything that was discussed to the press.

As for the distraction stuff, this is worse than Tebow. Kaep's supporters aren't saying, "Give him a job," they're saying, "Let him play." He could be Aaron Rodgers' backup and the first time Rodgers fumbles or throws an interception, they'd be screaming for Kaep to take over.

Also worth noting that when everything was initially happening the Ravens planned on having him in to at least talk but his dumbass girlfriend/mouthpiece effectively called Ray Lewis an Uncle Tom and Ravens owner Biscotti a slave owner.

Stephen A says that he will have a job in two weeks and mentions the Bears as a possible landing spot. He's never right but Trubisky seems to be a bust and they appear to have no backup plan right now.
