Bucs cut first round pick Vernon Hargreaves in the middle of his fourth season and the Texans claimed him off waivers.

Jets owner says Gase will be their coach in 2020. He doesn't have to stick to that, but it would be bad for the team if he did.

I think so. Even AP played for that amount last year.

Although at this point, Kaep should probably be offering to pay teams to let him play for them.

Would Kaep even be ready? He hasn't played in a game in three years and he's probably rusty and out of shape. He probably won't be ready until the last three weeks of the season if he signs with anybody now.

a lot of people saying that kaepernick shouldn’t be in the league, but he’s a better quarterback than a good portion of the starters and he’s won quite a few playoff games.

if nathan peterman is in the league as a backup, you can’t say he wouldn’t be better. or tannehill or winston. or andy dalton. or whoever else is in cincinnati.

other than tom brady or patrick mahomes, i would take kaepernick over most starters in league. (not lamar jackson, but maybe over deshaun watson)

really, why not sign him to be a back up to watson? a mobile quarterback that can run the same plays.

the 49ers were awful the last time he played, but before the defense fell apart (willis retiring, the safety leaving, bowman getting injured).... he was exciting and fun to watch,

and isn’t he undefeated against rodgers? two playoff games in lambeau and a season opener that might been the last season at the stick?

I didn't think he was that great when he was in his prime. He had speed and could scramble, but he didn't seem that great in the pocket, not when there was real pressure.

Then, you think about the last time he has played any meaningful football. It's been, what, 2-3 years?! I mean, I'm all for seeing what he's got, but to think that he's comparable to the current QBs is being very hopeful.
