Exactamundo. As a Niner fan I can say that once defenses figured him out and when Harbaugh left, Kaep fell back to earth. He couldn't hang in the pocket an had no touch on his passes, nothing but fastballs. As a player I liked him and it was fun while it lasted but even if the kneeling controversy didn't happen and he didn't opt out of his contract the Niners were going to move on. The deal they signed him too was very team friendly to them having the option of releasing him.

In regards to tonights game, I just now saw the fight and holy sh-t! Have never seen anything like that with the helmet swing, kicks to the head.

Aikman has had too many concussions. He thought Mason Rudolph had his hand stuck in Garrett's helmet when it was clear he was trying to rip it off.

Definitely, I don't care whatever Mason said to Myles, all while behind his lineman, he shouldn't have swung the helmet toward a player.

Browns opponent two games from now is @ Pittsburgh. Zero chance the NFL doesn't suspend him at least through that point. Garrett playing in Pittsburgh only a few weeks out from this incident would create a dangerous situation.

Wouldn't surprise me if the NFL really tries to make an example of Garrett, suspending him at least 4 games, maybe the rest of the season. Haynesworth got 5 games for a head stomp, and that was before the NFL really started cracking down on cheap shots.

I'm pretty sure all bets were off when he seen Garrett swing the helmet and hit Mason. He will sit at least 2 to 3 games I'm guessing. Then the coward Ogunjobi with the cheap shot after Mason was hit was just as bad.

Yeah I see a lot of personal fouls in that game in 2 weeks.

I think Garrett started it by throwing Rudolph to the ground. Refs should have thrown the flag then. It was late and unnecessary roughness. Mason got angered by being ragdolled and grabbed Garrett's facemask to retaliate. So, I agree he should get a game.

I agree on everything but Rudolph I doubt the NFL suspends him maybe a fine. I feel he didn't do anything out of the ordinary when it comes to NFL fights. Garrett could have threw up his hands and laughed it off no big deal.

Watch him get less games than Burfict. He got 12 for his history and reputation. It was a mild late hit that the victim didnt even care about. This thing last night hasnt been seen since the 70s.
If the league is fair they would extend Garrett’s punishment into next season. I would hope multiple players on both sides are suspended. Marshawn Lynch got suspended for breaking up a fight. I just want it called fairly.

I guess I don’t mind what Garrett did. Yeah it was ugly but Mason started the whole thing just a play or two before and had tried ripping Garrett’s helmet off. So then he and the 2 OL guys want to fight one player? Oh ok.
