Not going to dispute that Jerry loves media attention but it has to be on his terms, not someone like Kaep and the bigger picture is he knows his audience, the fanbase. Kaep in DAL, in Texas?!?! Lol
I mean if you know football beyond the Cowboys I don't see it here and beyond that my first point is you have the ability to make any NFL story about them. That is amusing. I am not even saying this to try to insult, its just a fact over the history of this thread.

Anyways, I had a feeling today might be a tough game against the cards, after the Monday loss to the Seahawk and injuries piling up. No running game today, defense was not its dominant self but got stops when needed to, sh-t ton of dumb penalties but Jimmy got it done with the passing game with career highs in yards and TD's. A couple of picks but he came through at the end. Tough tests ahead with GB and BAL up next.

Really starting to hate our team this year. The defense played out of their minds yesterday but our offense is a joke. Groh needs to be fired, first of all. But more importantly, it's time for our fan base to understand a very simple but harsh truth: Wentz ain't it, chief. He's an above-average game manager, but nothing more. I see guys like Mahomes taking complete no-names and turning them into studs. Wentz can't do that. He needs weapons and even then, nothing is guaranteed.

Still, we're only 5-5. We can lose next week to Seattle (let's be honest, we will) and run the table on five winnable games (yes, including Dallas) to end up 10-6, which can win this division. But this team isn't making any kind of run. That game last night was within reach throughout. Those are the kinds of games we should be winning. And if we can't -- then what's the point?

Onto Seattle.

Dropped passes. The WR corps is pretty bad. It’s funny how everyone clamors for Foles, but they seem to forget how the last play of last season ended in New Orleans. The WRs have just regressed since that point. If three very catchable passes are made, the Eagles have wins against Atlanta and Detroit and tie New England. Then there’s all the injuries. I’m amazed they are .500 with all the injuries on both sides of the ball. Maybe they get a statement win against Seattle but I’m not betting on it.

WRs are absolutely a problem but Carson isn't doing much, either. There's always an excuse (not necessarily from you, just generally): oh it was windy, oh guys dropped passes, oh guys couldn't get open. But the sack/fumble was all him, and it's happened multiple times this year. Great QBs can throw guys open, they can fit the ball into spaces that only their guys can get to. I just don't see it from him. I'm not nostalgic for Foles; he would get hot at the right times but he was never a long-term solution. I just don't think Carson is that long-term solution either, but we're stuck with him financially. His 2017 year looks more and more like an aberration, not a sign of things to come.

I don’t know if the Eagles ever recovered from losing Frank Reich. I know he didn’t call the plays for you guys, but he’s a heck of a game planner.
