This allegation Garrett made looks real bad for him. It was either a hail mary from him or his lawyers. Several Browns players said they didn't hear the alleged slur and todays news about it all caught them by surprise, first they had heard about it.

From what I gather the alleged slur used happen at the beginning of the scuffle, not at the moment when Garrett swung the helmet at Mason. So, if it did happen, it was while Mason tried to rip Garrett's helmet or seconds later when we see Garrett start to get up and then all of sudden goes after Mason and his helmet. There were no Browns player near him at the time, just Mason, two Steelers lineman and Garrett.

Essentially impossible to prove something like this. Garrett clearly got some bad advice in agreeing to make this claim. I know he feels Rudolph got off with a slap on the wrist, but his best move would have been to take his medicine and start to rebuild his image.

Would still like to see criminal charges pressed, but I’m guessing that ship has sailed.

This is what happens when you have a toxic culture in the locker room and nobody there to hold people accountable. Wouldn’t surprise if this isn’t the last suspension this team gets.

The NFL analyzed the entire incident and found no evidence to back up Garrett's claim. Beyond that, if it did happen Garrett would have said something about it when the 100 cameras were on him in the locker room right after the game. Seems like nearly all of Garrett's teammates didn't even know about this alleged slur until asked about it today.

Translation: it didn't happen. Myles made it up to manufacture an excuse for his appeal.

A few of Rudolph's black teammates were as close to the action on that play as Myles Garrett. If he used a slur they too would have heard it. If he used it we would have noticed some sort of surprised reaction from them towards Mason, even if he is their teammate. There was none whatsoever. Like I said, it didn't happen, and shame on Myles for bringing in the Johnnie Cochran card.

Passing for 129 yards for zero TD's is "much improved"? After a strong start to the season he's been very mediocre in his last four games.

Myles got suspended for cracking a QB in the head with a swung weapon and he tried to justify it by lying. Ended badly, I would make his suspension now last through at least the 1st week of next season now to make a point about lying about racial slurs.

This will be a big test for the Cowboys to see if they're a real contender. Other than the baffling Jets loss the other losses were to the 8 win teams in the NFC. Need to beat playoff teams.

Jason Garrett is the worst tenured HC we've ever had, I'd be stunned if he can figure this out. Even with Belicheat's tendency to let mobile QBs go off.
