I agree. I get that refs, of all positions, should get rewarded but how else can you work it? Give entire crews scores, vs individuals?
As with everything officiating, I contend it works far more than it doesn’t.

DOes it really matter? They make so many mistakes either way, this way at least they get the ones that constantly make bad errors off the field. In theory.

I wouldnt go that far. Brees loses it as the season goes on but you dont get that far without a ton of heart if they were to move on (even just in this game) obviously Bridgewater would be a more logical choice than Hill

Well, minus a miracle, this game is over and Brees lost yet another chance. I can't blame only him....missed FG, and the Saints D was garbage all day long.

I mean, my Bears crappy team held Cousins and Cook to sh*t games when they faces earlier in the year, and they weren't nearly as good as the Saints.
