I don't understand why the NFL mixes crews for the playoffs. Let the officials who know each other continue to work with each other.

I agree. I get that refs, of all positions, should get rewarded but how else can you work it? Give entire crews scores, vs individuals?
As with everything officiating, I contend it works far more than it doesn’t.

DOes it really matter? They make so many mistakes either way, this way at least they get the ones that constantly make bad errors off the field. In theory.

I wouldnt go that far. Brees loses it as the season goes on but you dont get that far without a ton of heart if they were to move on (even just in this game) obviously Bridgewater would be a more logical choice than Hill

I knew Thielen would be the difference maker. Wow!
Cousins might have just silenced the critics if they pull this out.

Well, minus a miracle, this game is over and Brees lost yet another chance. I can't blame only him....missed FG, and the Saints D was garbage all day long.

I mean, my Bears crappy team held Cousins and Cook to sh*t games when they faces earlier in the year, and they weren't nearly as good as the Saints.

Not sure I'd go that far. He'd still only be 7-30 against winning teams.

Huge win for Cousins from an optics standpoint.

You’re only as good as your last win, and that was a big one.
Assuming OPI isn’t called on the review.
