That was a joke, but ok. Pack didn't show up to that game and it was the Niners running backs that won that game, not Bosa and not JG.
I was giving SF fans a hard time for their team passing on a future HOF QB. Imagine if Rodgers were with the current SF team. A running/passing dominance! Either way, Go KC! |

And I agree with others here, while I am a Niners fan and am not fully sold on Jimmy, yes he is serviceable with flashes of being really good, I think it way too early to label him a game manager a la Dilfer, Brad Johnson, etc. I think goalposts are being moved when you talk about stats, regular season games, vs. playoff games, etc., because he has had to win some games with his arm this season but beyond that when it comes to this postseason, you are riding the hot hand with the rushing game. There has been absolutely no need to deviate from what's working this postseason. Opposing teams cannot stop the run and the defense has clamped down on opponents. The Niners should start throwing now just to prove they can, stat pad? Makes absolutely no sense if the sole objective is to win a title. Jimmy is locked up for the foreseeable future, there will be other opportunities to "prove" himself. And like someone else mentioned Shanahan has learned from the ATL Super Bowl debacle it seems. As a Niner fan I will never be confident and at best cautiously optimistic. Yes the KC offense and Mahommes scare me but I don't think they have faced this kind of defense this year and KC has the X factor working against them, and that is Reid who can't win the big one and I still have no reason to believe he can/will. I like(d) Smith and wasn't all that supportive when Harbaugh made the switch to Kaep, who seemed gimmicky and pretty much was. SF did get a good haul in return in the form of draft picks though. |

that stat was eye catching but a bit more representative of the Chiefs WR corp at the time. He lead the Chiefs to the playoffs 4/5 seasons in KC, had decent, even stand out Pro-Bowl stats, while there. Don't think a horrible QB could've accomplished that.
