As for the OPI, sure, but I doubt the NFL wants boos from the crowd going into halftime.

Drives me nuts when coaches dick around, just letting the clock run out with a lot of time left before the half. Shanahan had plenty of time to try to get into at least FG range.

This is just one reason why I've always believe Super Bowls should simply be played at the location of the team with the better record, not neutral site. The fan base you get in any neutral site (almost always warm weather or dome) Super Bowl is casual, wealthy fans.

Ya, I know it'll never happen because they want their games in a nice warm location, pre-planned so they can schedule performers.

No way. I do agree with Bill Simmons tho that it should only be in LA, Miami, NOLA, and now Vegas. Warm party cities. I get that they reward teams/cities for new stadiums tho.

So should all playoff games be moved to warm weather cities? If the Super Bowl "needs" to be played in warm weather why should other big games, like conference title games be played in places like Foxboro or Green Bay? The logic of playoff games leading into the Super Bowl being in cold weather but not the title games seems... inconsistent.
