Because the Super Bowl is a destination event. Fans are there for a week. The league holds a ton of events around the cities. Even music festivals that they schedule for the week. The game is always more about the outside noise to the NFL. It’s a week long bragging event for Roger. Plus If im paying $8k to go with my wife Id rather be in NOLA, Miami, LA, Vegas than Kansas City or the new generic stadium in ____.

I went to the 2010 Winter Classic up in Boston. It snowed and was a blast.
