i don’t know why people think it’s impossible that some white guy from the south could have said something racist. i mean, that never happens! this would be the first time.

Why would the NFL cover up a racial slur? If it happened, why not let it be known and let Rudolph face the consequences.

I kinda think Garrett did hear the word... but from someone else on the field, and he attributed it to Rudolph in the heat of the moment. Which is dumb and irresponsible, especially in light of the various investigations into the incident. But if those investigations were only asking if Rudolph said it, not if anyone said it, then I could see that being a potential blind spot. And all of this still doesn't answer why Garrett waited a week to say anything about the slur, and is still talking about even though he supposedly doesn't wanna make this whole thing about race. Weird.

If Garrett was so offended, why did he apologize to Rudolph right after the game, in his statement? Why aren’t his teammates that were in close proximity getting his back?

I’m very curious to see how this pans out. If nothing is done by June 1, it would greatly affect how Philly handles Alshon Jeffery’s contract. Since no deal is made, there is currently no option for teams to designate post June 1 cuts and spread the dead money.
In a dream world Howie works another miracle and somehow trades Jeffery to reduce the dead money by $10mil.

NFLPA is in a tight spot. Only real bargaining chip they have is the 17th game.

Not surprising Brees tweeted he’s playing for New Orleans this season. Now how much do you pay someone who will probably pass the 80k pass yard mark this season?

With their cap issues, that likely means Bridgewater is gone. Will any team looking for a starting QB look at him?
