I don't see how that's possible because many times teams have multiple Thursday games. I just don't see a need for that time slot, the thanksgiving day games are a one day off thing which is fine, the weekly Thursday games are just something that is no longer needed imo, would be much better schedule wise to have a double header on Mondays imo.

They were just saying they had an advantage - im talking about how people complain now that teams shouldnt play on only 3 days rest.

Very.
There are no byes in the early wks (too early) & no byes in the last few wks (would be competitive advantage).
So basically there would be no TNF in september & december - that aint happening.

The NFLPA will eventually have to understand that they will never have any true leverage against the owners. Unless they want to pool their money, save up the few Billion it would cost to buy into, and run a team, then they will always be fighting an uphill battle.
In every facet of life, the person on top makes the most. Mainly, because they spend/invest the most.
There was upwards of another $5billion that would’ve made its way into the players pockets over the lifetime of this deal...if not more. Their “leadership” committee is playing a horrible game of chicken, which can really backfire on them.

I honestly doubt it. It’s tough with Carr. Good stats on paper...low turnovers... but only because he will never ever take any kind of chance. He’s too safe to ever be anything better than like the 20th best QB. I think Gruden wants to keep him tho.
