I expect Suh to appeal, which would make him eligible to play Sunday against the Saints, and I wouldn't be surprised if the suspension is reduced to one game.
Edit: Jay Glazer is saying that the appeal will be expedited and a decision will likely be reached by Saturday, so it's unlikely he'll be able to play Sunday. Usually the appeals process takes a week or more and the player is eligible to play during the appeal. Last edited by fatediesel; 11-29-2011 at 02:37 PM. |

They might have a few more wins if and only if Del Rio would have allowed Tebow's joke Gators offense. He probably would have forced him to learn to be a pocket passer and that probably would have been a disaster. Or Tebow would be a Tebowing End (TE) already.

I would expect him to appeal just to be on the field this Sunday Night against the Saints. Then again, the coaching staff would be smart to tell him man up admit you were wrong and just eat these next 2 games, 1 of which they should be able to win easy. The Saints are not a running team, so having him on that line may not be worth it. Vikings are but AP is also injured. The Lions need him when they face a good running team in the Raiders in 3 weeks, especially since McFadden is back at that time.

Everything I've ever read about the Jags lease says it's an iron-tight lease through 2030 that would only allow the team to leave if a) the team was losing money (which is impossible to do in the NFL) or b) the city didn't take proper care of the facility, which I've read would never happen as the city takes better care of the facility than almost any other city.

I know LA is a large market, but given every NFL franchise that's ever been in LA has flopped and relocated why would they think the Jags would be successful there?

I know the only report is from Schefter who is a reliable source, but all I see in a search is past news of Weaver denying all rumors selling the Jags up until earlier of this month.
