I like the trade. I hope he works out! The WR situation in Philly was beyond bad last season.

Philly started the draft with 7 picks, walked away with 10 and a WR.

The Eagles ultimately traded picks No. 146 and No. 190 into ... No. 196, No. 200, No. 210, No. 233, a 2021 fifth-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys, and Marquise Goodwin.

Now to find some more gems in the UDFA pool.

Bummed about Joe Staley's retirement, but a person's health takes precedence over everything else. Staley was a great player who spent most of his career on some awful 49ers teams (and this is coming from a life long 49ers fan).

Actually pretty happy with the draft. We addressed our positional needs, I just dunno how good the players actually are. But I guess we'll find out.

Honestly excited about the Jalen Hurts pick, moreso than any of the others.

No details have been released just yet, but the deal is supposed to be "economical" since the Saints have roughly $3.5 million in cap space available. Winston also won't be guaranteed the backup role behind Drew Brees, instead competing with Taysom Hill, who was retained this offseason with a first-round tender, while also giving the team another viable arm in the event Hill gets injured in his atypical sub-package roles. Taysom has been widely viewed as the heir apparent once Brees reportedly walks away for an analyst job with NBC Sports next offseason, but Winston could very well maneuver his way into the organization's long-term plans with a little bit of luck and successful showing. It's not what the 26-year-old had in mind after throwing for the eighth-most passing yards (5,109) in a single-season in league history last year, but there's a lot to like for both parties in this agreement if the numbers can be agreed upon.

Now I’m hopeful they can bring back one, or all three, on friendly 1yr deals:
Peters, Bradham and Clement.

Yeah I think they got a solid haul this year, only problem is the Tampa Bay Patriots are in your Conference now.
