I believe it’s going to be on ESPN2 a couple times over the weekend.

Pelissero added, "The team has liked Trubisky’s attitude since the Nick Foles trade and it’ll be an open competition." Still, Foles remains the heavy favorite to be under center once Week 1 comes around. Trubisky regressed across the board in 2019 while also suddenly declining to utilize his actually-good rushing ability. Perhaps it's a tad too early to fully give up on the No. 2 overall pick of the 2017 draft, but Trubisky's days as a starting QB could realistically already be over.

Trubisky, Fournette, Corey Davis, Jarrad Davis, Reuben Foster, Solomon Thomas, Garett Bolles, Takkarist McKinley -- Lots of fifth-year options being declined this week.

It's not impossible the same could happen with Mitch. As a Bears fan, him 'getting it' is still the Bears best option at QB going forward.

Other options are the one trick pony Foles, who has been trash outside his time with the Eagles...and even then, he wasn't great the entire time...or drafting a rookie next year and starting all over.

IMO, until the Bears fix the O-Line, it doesn't matter who plays QB. That crap has been a dumpster fire since 2006. Anyone remember the game the Giants sacked Cutler NINE time in the first quarter alone?

And sadly, they didn't do much to fix said O-Line, so I fully expect another trash season in Chicago....whenever that happens.

justw atched it a little earlier, man he is lucky to have his life and his leg. Can't believe what it looked like and where he is at now. I always really liked Alex and was never a fan of him losing his starting job with the Niners how he did. If he never plays again he had a good run and he has a really sharp mind so I wouldn't be surprised if he got into coaching or the front office somewhere.

Cowboys have signed quarterback Andy Dalton to a 1 year deal.

So much for that Patriots hype. Good pickup for Dallas though.

I hate the move as a Giants fan, but it does force Dakota Rayne’s hand now. Do you do the smart thing, and accept the 30-35 mil per they’re offering or do you play a game of chicken, and keep insisting you’re worth Mahomes money (40+ per year)?

I think it’s a safe bet if Prescott only signs the franchise tender and they start 1-3 or 2-4 that his ass rides the bench to see what Dalton can do. That way Jerry would be able to dump Dak after the season, and either re-sign Dalton at way under the 35 mil he’s offering Dak or draft someone next year.

Good backup signing for Dallas.

They really don't want to overpay Dak.

Tank for Trevor in progress, I really don't see the Patriots breaking over 5 wins this season if we play it. They blead some off that defense and they simply need to get younger and more skilled and having the NFL take picks and drafting in the 25-30 range the last couple decades has taken a toll as it should.

Patriots have I think 1 million in cap space, signing Dalton was never an option. It would of required a lot of maneuvering to pull off and for what, Dalton is not a guy you build a franchise around, or god at least I hope not.

I don't think Bill's ego would allow him to tank for anyone. I believe he's more interested in winning with Stidham to prove to the world he's behind the rings and not Brady.

I don't think Stidham is the guy he wants to be honest, more of a place holder and no he wont tank in the meaning play to lose, but his talent is thin and very limited and unless baring some magical transformation in Stidham's game when he cant even practice or prepare the correct way for this upcoming season, I think Bill is content to roll with what he has got and see where things land.

People continue to ignore the elephant in the room which is the cap. Brady's dead cap hit and Brown's fiasco sealed this teams fate to rebuild.

They’ll have closer to ten million in cap room once they dump the worthless Mohamed Sanu. Which granted isn’t a lot, but considering the market for him is next to zero if they want him they’ll get Cam Newton for part of that.

Another reason people are still behind them, and don’t think they’ll tank is look at Vegas right now. I don’t mean the Raiders either. The oddsmakers have Belichick as an overwhelming favorite to win Coach Of The Year. Which as everyone should know goes to a coach with a winning record (he’d never win it if they go 5-11 or 6-10).

Before anyone accuses me of favoring them or liking Belichick neither is the case as I’m a Giants fan, and I have no use for the team or that coach.

Dalton should bring some much needed playoff experience to Dallas.

I almost put football out of my life but I still like to watch the Cowboys lose.

With Dalton in command it's going to be like starting over.
