The Chiefs will start Tyler Palko at quarterback Sunday against the Bears. Kyle Orton will be getting about 40% of the first team reps in practice and could play if (when) Palko plays poorly.

Hoping Palko has a couple of turn-overs that get run back for touchdowns before Orton takes his place.

Stevie Johnson got fined $10,000 for his touchdown celebration mocking Plaxico Burress shooting himself.

That's a pretty low fine if you ask me. Regardless I hope he learned his lesson, that celebration penalty was very costly. But his drop at the end was inexcusable. That's a touchdown if he catches it.

lol we better win this one... last weeks game vs the Raiders was so frustrating to watch..with Cutler we win that game by at least two TDs. Our defense could have played better in the second half...Palmer is as slow as molasses..

As well he should have...Idiot.

Karma is a funny thing isn't it. Nice dropped, game winning pass. The Bills' players must have felt like throwing this imbecile off of the plane.

GO BROWNS (sorry, just felt like throwing that in there...carry on).

It was so much fun listening to the weekly Jaguars Jack Del Rio show on the radio driving home from work last night and NOT hearing Del Rio. Right up until last week's show you'd have thought the Jags were playoff-bound by the way he talked. I really do think the guy was completely oblivious to the sorry state of the team right up until he got canned.

Possibly. Either that or just very well insulated from public opinion. His radio show takes a lot of callers and I'd say >90% are mainly pro-Del Rio and people "excited" about the Jags performance this season and heaping praise on him. Obviously his show screens calls VERY well considering I don't know a single Jags fan who liked Del Rio or how the team has performed this season.

Makes sense & also makes for an inaccurate account from the fans. Up here, Bros., the Leafs rule and after tonight's 6-3 loss to the Bruins they will be hammered by the papers and radio talk shows tomorrow. Even though we're having a good year, we blew a major opportunity tonight and the lads will hear about it...DESERVEDLY SO.

Are the Jags the biggest game in town in your area? The Leafs in Toronto are the same as the Red Sox in Boston & Yanks in New York. They get talked about more during the summer than the Jays.

I hate to say it but there is no "biggest game in town" for pro sports here in central Florida. Of the pro teams the Orlando Magic probably get the most attention since they're the closest pro team. Florida isn't know for having diehard teams of pro sports teams. The Tampa Bay Bucs were king between the late 90's-early 00's simply because they were consistently a top-tier NFL team. These days they never even sellout a game.

College football, namely the Gators get more attention than the Jags do in this region. High school football is also huge in Florida. Outside of maybe Texas we probably have the best pool of HS football talent in the nation. There are some big high school football games that can push 5,000-10,000 fans. Especially so in south Florida cities like Miami and Belle Glades.

Interesting...I've certainly seen the Panthers, Marlins, Dolphins & Heat play home games on TV and have often wondered why none of them seem to sell out...ever. I know SEC Football rules down there along with Fla St. and the "U". The Rays are one of the best pro sports organizations in FLA., yet I saw empty seats during the post season at Tropicana in 2010. Well...enjoy the Jags, Magic and Braves (how far for you to go to "Hotlanta" & see the Braves)?

Great I have Dwayne Bowe on my fantasy team and the Chiefs are still throwing out this bum who throws like a left-handed pitcher. All winding up his left arm like he's a clock.

Earlier this week it was reported that the Dolphins were going to release Sage Rosenfels and that he would be signing with the Texans. That is not going to happen. Rosenfels is on the Non-Football Injury List with a blood infection and therefore the Dolphins do not have to pay him. Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland apparently thinks the team is better off keeping Rosenfels (who is a free agent after the season) rather than releasing him and letting him go to Houston.

Well it looks like the Texans are going to have a tough time keeping that lead over the Titans.
