Oh, I don't have the answer. NBA is the perfect situation because of roster size, and where they were in the season.

Not optimistic at all about the season now, what with the disaster happening in baseball.

Lineman heavy breathing in each other's face all game long.

And baseball has shown that young adults will behave like young adults off the field.

In a bubble it can be controlled, but no way obviously to play a season in a bubble.

I beg to differ. The answer to the NFL's impending Covid problem......

5% chance that we actually have the Super Bowl this year.

I believe that's 7 Patriots so far lol

Quote:
"That spot is the same as all the other spots. We have a long way to go. We'll see how things turn out," Belichick said in his first press conference since Newton signed. "I can't control how players perform; that's up to them. We'll give everyone an opportunity and see what happens." This may sound like coachspeak, but Newton's contract ($550K guaranteed) suggests he'll need to earn the starting job. He has the edge over Jarrett Stidham and a 34-year-old Brian Hoyer, though Newton went unsigned into June and hasn't played a full season since 2017. Newton's upside may be overrated on what looks like a run-heavy offense. He carries the risk of getting waived or landing on IR.

In a league that strives for parity, how can they be remotely competitive with all these opt outs?
Put....a....fork....in it already!

Dak Prescott and Cowboys probably knew that and so weren't too bothered by no new contract. Wonder if it still means they will have to wait till February to negotiate a new contract.

Same for the other what is it, 11 franchised players.

Carson Wentz 60td/1int in red zone over last 3 years. 21/0 last season, only behind Jackson/Wilson....but yeah not Top 100.

Of the big 3 QBs taken in 2016, I wouldn't take him over Prescott but I would take him over Super Bowl choker Goff.

If we actually have a season that goes 16 games, due to his own ineptitude and injury risk, I would put the over/under on games started by Newton at 5.

AFC East is finally catching up to the Patriots and their now defense-heavy roster.
