I think we both know that the NFL and NFLPA are going to do everything possible to get the season in. I’m cautiously optimistic they can pull it off.

Per source, NFL opt-out deadline is now expected to be "Thursday or Friday." Attorneys continue to finalize language of the agreement, but it appears NFLPA will agree to shorten window btwn agreement & deadline (originally 7 days) in return for some concessions on final language.

The season has barely started and it’s an absolute train wreck. NFL is still riding off the glory of the draft, but now it’s a whole different monster. They are literally making things up as they go. It’s becoming laughable. No bubble is just asking for trouble.
NHL had over 7k tests, zero positives. Bubbles work, but the NFL thinks they are too big for a pandemic. I hope the players unite and all opt out. That would send a message.

Stocks are my main investment (big mistake was not getting into gold) but like i had mentioned this is just fun/extra money.

besides the fact that since they aren’t playing in a bubble, wouldn’t it be better to just cancel the season than to start and then have to cancel in the middle?

we don’t even know the long term effects, that pitcher from boston developed heart issues after contracting the virus. so now what for him? could his career be over! could he not be able to perform at a high level?

what happens if one of the biggest players in the league catches it and dies? imagine if mahomes caught it. you aren’t able to keep it from the public.

i want football, but it’s just not feasible. and really, there is no excuse to go forward when we’ve seen how bad it is with baseball. that will only be worse with football.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford was removed from the Reserve/COVID-19 list today, joining Gardner Minshew as the second starting QB to come off the list. The Lions said it was a False-Positive test result.
