It's pretty frustrating man. It really felt like this was the year where we could break through, and then we started dropping like flies. There's always next year to look forward to, but my thoughts keep wandering to what could have been this year.

I think they can extend to over 150+ miles away from the main city.

On the flipside, I'm in the middle of Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami -- 3 teams I loathe -- and I'm guaranteed to get at least 2 of them every weekend.

I miss living in Wisconsin for very few reasons, but this is one of them.

So besides Chicago and Houston are any other teams going to put a waiver on McNabb. Perhaps the Titans in a defensive move?

I'd prefer blackouts to end zone celebrations (not including the Lambeau Leap obviously ).

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle says the Texans won't be putting in a claim for McNabb. The Texans are reportedly happy with their QBs, plus they don't have enough cap space with McNabb due another $1.5 million this year, although if they wanted him they could easily move some money around to get enough cap space.

Denver Tebows really do have the worst receivers in the league, they swapped with the Rams on that title when they shipped Brandon Lloyd over.

cowboys put in a waiver for Kyle Orton so maybe they'll pick up McNabb

McNabb's final destination next year...the Giants

It's always hard to say this because Receiver Quality and QB quality go hand in hand.

Wes Welker isn't Wes Welker on just any team, but with Brady he's considered one of the best.

As a result, it goes both ways. The receivers being poor _might_ be why Tebow looks as bad as he does, but the opposite could be true as well. All you can say for sure is Tebow + his receivers aren't working well together.

And FWIW some of Tebow's catches have been really good receiver plays (again, just like every other team), so there is at least a little talent there.

Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested for third degree assault, discharging a firearm within city limits, menacing, and reckless endangerment in his hometown of Decatur, Alabama. He was reportedly involved in a fight last night where a gunshot was fired. McClain was in Alabama for his grandfather's funeral.

Blackout rule is 75 miles

Quote:
Several factors determine which games are carried in each market. Each of the 32 NFL teams is assigned a "primary market." Most teams also have a selected number of secondary markets. Secondary markets can be of any size, and are typically defined by an area where any part of the market falls within 75 miles of an NFL stadium. Small markets that have no clubs tend to strongly associate with geographically-nearby or particularly relevant teams, but may fall outside of the 75 mile area are not necessarily considered secondary markets by the NFL. Generally, games are aired in the primary and secondary markets as follows:

All away games are aired in the primary and secondary markets. This is a gesture to old policies based on the ability for fans to attend games. Away games were looked upon as too difficult to travel to and attend.
All sold out home games are aired in the primary market. Games that do not sell out at least 72 hours prior to kickoff are subject to local blackout in the primary and all secondary markets. (see below)

Eric Decker, Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas are all pretty talented, they looked pretty good last year when Orton was throwing for what, 5000 yards?

Yeah, Decker and Thomas SHOULD be good receivers for a long time in Denver. I love Tebow, but his passing leaves a lot to be desired.
