I'm laughing at this country and their virtue signaling with this mask nonsense on TV. The refs continue to try and use gators which have already been proven to actual increase your risk of contracting, especially since they continuously grab at their face when they talk trying to keep the stupid things on their face, but who cares about that, we need to maintain this appearance that everyone is going along like a good little school boy's.

The plastic face shields are funniest though, as if they will protect even in the slightest bit! The point was to make the older coaches safe from the younger players, what the hell good does an open plastic shield that makes these coaches look like fools on the sideline going to do? Why wear something that is 100% proven to not work, doctors and nurses use them in conjunction with a mask, not one or the other! Like I said virtue signaling at it's finest with this issue!

Yeah, I tend to think it was more of a fluke that the 49ers got hit this hard on one day. There are going to be more soft tissue injuries than normal for the first month or so until things stabilize from the shortened offseason. But I don’t think it’s from the playing surface because other teams aren’t facing the same minefield of injuries after games on the same field.
