A team could still pick him up for the league minimum. Probably not but if the Texans were desperate enough to bring in Delhomme, there's still hope for him.

yeah but he is a long time vet so the league min is like 1 million for him

The Texans don't care about McNabb. Only the Bears were really interested. Teams don't want to take on McNabb ($910K would be his salary) unless they absolutely have to like say if another QB on a playoff team gets injured this weekend.

We just had two tons of money grubbing fun on our team, I really hope that guy doesn't come anywhere near my team. I'll stick to my principles about that donk, I'd rather lose without him then him come here and break every one of Jerry Rice's records.

He won't do crap either once his speed goes.

Thought the same about Santana Moss, he's been decent over the years, albeit a bit injury-prone due to his size. Jackson is just an example of what's wrong with the NFL, I would love it if all his shenanigans this year cost him a chance at that huge contract he's been wanting and he ends up having to go to a team for scraps.

That's true Moss is quite serviceable in his later years.

He STINKS. Hang 'em up and enjoy the HOF in 5 years. No rings but a Great career (went 1-4 in NFC Title games. Getting that far is better than most).

I dunno, he strikes me as a lot like Romo in the fact that he put up a lot of numbers but never won a ring so I'd say it's very iffy at this point in his career that he makes it into the HOF.

You know good and well what I meant. McNabb had lots of regular season success but was inconsistent and the play-offs and very shaky in that Super Bowl loss to the Patriots. Rings are not everything but they are a lot, Dilfer was an excellent bus driver. Probably a better one than Joe Flacco, IMO.
