With Dallas and that non-existent defense coming to town next week, I'd like to see Jalen Hurts get his first NFL start and see what he can do. But we're gonna get Carson Wentz trying to be Superman again, with errant throws and bad decisions interrupted every once in a while but something halfway competent. Gonna be a long, terrible season, and the worst part is we might actually win this division and have nothing but the 18th pick to show for it.

Desean Jackson hurt again.

I know it was a questionable hit but this bum is incapable of staying healthy for more than a game at a time.

But more than moving on from any single player, we may need to move on from Howie Roseman first. Guy has no idea how to evaluate talent and the worst part is that he seems to always think he's the smartest guy in the room.

Without Dak for Dallas, I definitely think you guys are the favorites.

At this point in his career, Desean is a finely-tuned Italian sports car in its later years. On days that it runs, it is a supreme machine. But sooner or later you know that thing is going to end up in the shop again for weeks with a repair bill that you could have used to remodel your kitchen.

Last I heard on the radio, tests were coming back negative so if the last one on Sunday morning is also negative, they'll be good to go.

Eagles should just stick him on IR and keep him there. If he gets healthy before the end of the season, he will want an injury settlement. That would at least give them a little bit of cap relief for him.

Desean was only ever brought back for nostalgia. He was always injury prone in Tampa and Washington, but we liked the idea of bringing our old star back. I kinda assume that's why he was out there returning a punt late against the Giants, too.
