He also toiled away in the Arena Football League as well for quite a while. You're right about Trent Green's injury giving Warner his chance. Same might be said for Tom Brady who few took seriously before Bledsoe's injury with the Patriots.

And his HOF bust will likely be a huge draw since it will have the side effect of curing diseases such as cancer just by being in close proximity of it.

Don't forget that the NFL is already talking about retiring his number from EVERY team when he finally leaves with 2 full hands worth of rings.

his bust will magically glow so no lighting required

Denver Tebows games should be flexed to primetime for the rest of the season

While most Tebow posts are obvious exaggerations that one really isn't. I'll bet that Patriots-Broncos game gets massive ratings.

agreed

who wants to see the Ravens have 130 total yards on offense and pick off Rivers 4 times but still lose to the inferior Chargers? nobody

The Broncos are 5-2 vs Tom Brady since he became the starter and they didn't even have Tebow for any of those games

Tebow will show the Patriots how to run the ball

Very true. Brady didn't go until the 6th round.

Buffalo has to win out and get some help to make the playoffs, so the odds of us making it are very slim. But I still have hope we can do it! Let's go Buffalo, let's go beat the Titans!!!!

biggest test of the season for the packers so far.....this is the game i've been thinking will end their hot streak.

but it they have to lose, i'd prefer it today rather than against the lions or bears.

I wouldn't worry too heavily. When the Giants were 6-2 they had the easiest schedule in the league and still had two losses they had no business having.

The Giants being superbowl bound was smoke and mirrors.

I predict this to be a slaughter on par with the Saints-Giants game. The Giants are just too hurt to be a serious team this year.

I really don't care for the Patriots...... but you gotta give credit where credit is due........ so.......

"The Patriots don't NEED to run the ball!"

EDIT:

Also, Billy boy is a great coach..... he'll out "Game-plan" anything the Donkeys try to do with Teblow.

As much as I would like to see the Bengals win, I don't see it happening.

And as stated previously........ Patriots will roll over Denver. Patriots may not be able to stop the run against a team that is capable of throwing the ball...... but a team this one dimensional will have the Patriots salivating.

Plus.... Belichek loves the attention to be on his team, so he's probably bitter at all of the face-time Tebow is getting as a flash-in-the-pan.

That is because it is a known fact throughout the land, pointing it out only makes others play poorly because they know they will never be as great. And that's something Tebow wouldn't ever want

The Price for Cutler: Now that the Broncos have waived Kyle Orton, who was a central piece in a blockbuster trade with the Bears, the exact price that Chicago surrendered for former Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler can be accurately weighed. It was, in two words -- a bargain.

For Cutler, the Broncos got:

• A 2009 first-round pick that Denver used on defensive end Robert Ayers.

• A 2010 first-round pick Denver traded to Seattle for a 2009 second-round pick used on cornerback Alphonso Smith.

• A 2009 third-round pick Denver traded with its own third-round pick to Pittsburgh for a second-round pick used on tight end Richard Quinn and a fourth-round pick used on guard Seth Olsen.

Now, Orton is in Kansas City, and Ayers is the only player left on Denver's roster that the team got in return for Cutler. That's it. Every other player brought to the Broncos from that trade has been released.

And if that weren't bad enough, the 2009 third-round pick from Chicago that Denver wound up trading to Pittsburgh was used on none other than wide receiver Mike Wallace.

So Chicago got Cutler, Pittsburgh got Wallace, and Denver got … Ayers. Literally.

Moral of the story: In the offseason after Cutler was selected to his first Pro Bowl, no price was too high to pay for a proven Pro Bowl quarterback.

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that Adrian Peterson's high ankle sprain could sideline him for Week 14, as well.
PFT's Mike Florio suggests the Vikings might shut down Peterson altogether for the final five games because they're not serious playoff contenders. NFL teams don't normally operate like that, but it's certainly conceivable that the Vikings will take every precaution possible with their $96 million back. Fantasy owners should be prepared to be without A.P. beyond just Week 13.
