Steelers might be 11-1 but they've barely gotten by a lot of these games.

Omg bro I forgot why I stop posting here for a while! The Steeler hate is crazy here, why so many hate the Steelers here idk? We play the schedule that was giving to us and beat the first 11 teams on that schedule was it pretty no, but no team this season has looked dominant all season.

KC just struggled with the same Broncos that we barely beat but didn't hear how overated they are. I saw people making excuses "oh this is a division game the AFC West games are always close " Lmao!

I rather win ugly then lose pretty any day. I'm going to Love and defend my team regardless!

Steelers are just hated in general, can't take it personally. A lot of people hate the Cowboys and we are mired in one of our worst seasons in franchise history. Just part of being a sports fan, I'm used to it. We'll be back to being pretenders in the NFC next year, as long as we have a solid draft that takes our defense from horrible to mediocre and Dak stays healthy.

My wife, BIL, SIL are all Steeler fans, but I can't stand this **** **** **** **** **** *****.

When they get a new QB, I will have no issues with that team. Well, I never respected Tomlin after that sideline incident years ago.

Im just not a fan of the "who have they beaten" theme.

The yr the giants beat the 18-0 pats in the super bowl the giants only beat 1 team that was above 0.500 in the reg season - the 9-7 redskins.

So if a team can only have 1 "good win" & still beat 1 of the best teams of all time in the super bowl thats all i really need to know.

Yeah I get it. Its hard not to take it personally when you are really invested and loved a team since you were a kid.

Yeah you are right tho the Cowboys get the hate too.

Giants also beat the 3 other good teams on the way to beating the Patriots.

Wouldn't the more apt comparison be comparing the 2007 Patriots to the 2020 Steelers through the first 13 weeks?

Giants were a mediocre regular season team but an amazing play-off team. It's even going to carry Elisha Manning into an undeserved HOF entry someday.

That's fair and I totally get it. Wasn't happy with either incident both were huge black eyes for the franchise.

Well, he also had that other Super Bowl win. And if playoff performance wasn't considered, Lynn Swann wouldn't be in the HOF.

As a Redskins fan, I'm good with that.

If we had won one of those close games against the Giants, we'd be in pretty good shape now. Still have a chance for a wild card though even if we don't win the division.

I don't hate the Steelers...just don't consider them a top team.

But honestly, this year, I really only consider the Chiefs a top team in the AFC

Based on local radio feedback, you are in the minority lol.

But I agree, I think it's OK. The popular choice seems to be Redwolves, which I think sounds incredibly dumb. (Washington Wolves, on the other hand, I think would be fine.)

Some guy has trademarked a bunch of Washington (nickname) names. They probably don't want to deal with him.

He said he was willing to let them have whichever name they wanted (via WUSA9):

Quote:
A 61-year-old Alexandria actuary may very well be sitting on the trademark for the Washington NFL team's future moniker. And yet, he doesn't even want any money for it. He simply wants to see a name change.
Quote:
"I want them to change the name and they said a trademark issue is holding it up. I thought they were talking about the Arkansas State Red Wolves, but maybe they were talking about me. I am not going to be an obstacle for changing the name prior to the first game of the 2020 season."

No because we are talking reg season.

Also that pats team was blowing teams away beating 9 teams by 20+ pts in reg season -- this pit team has only done that 3x so far.
