Nah he's on a short leash now, especially if we do manage to trade Wentz and go with Hurts as our new franchise QB. Pederson will have to own that decision and his future in Philly will depend on how well Hurts and the offense perform.

Not too happy about Roseman staying, but hopefully he's stripped of some of his power, especially in terms of drafting. And regardless of who our QB is next season, we need a damn OC, and preferably an outside hire who can inject some life into this offense.

I'm also skeptical, but it's mainly because of how much hype he has around him rather than anything about him as a person or player.

I wish him the best, but anyone who has such insane expectations is facing an incredibly uphill battle.

Lol, no for me its the fact he plays in a program that has the best of the best of the best at nearly all positions. Schools like Clemson these last few years have had the cream of the crop for recruit selections and commitments and imo that makes a very large difference at the college level.

A lot of these players just don't have what it takes to be an NFL quarterback. Or they do have what it takes but go to an awful team that destroys them (see David Carr). But we won't know until they take the field.

NJ.com: ESPN’s Adam Schefter predicts Eagles will trade Carson Wentz and what they will get in return for the QB

Schefter said he also thought that if Wentz wanted to be traded, he might be willing to rework the money for the team that would acquire Wentz and would have to do so before a roster bonus is due the third day of the league year.

Schefter added he would talk to some people about the possible compensation the Eagles would receive in a trade but thinks the Eagles could get two draft picks in return.

“If the money is acceptable, I think they get a two and something else,” Schefter said. “If the contract stands and Wentz is inflexible, I think the Eagles might have to eat some of that money.”

Eagles senior offensive assistant Rich Scangarello and senior offensive consultant Marty Mornhinweg are on expiring contracts and will not return to Philadelphia, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

These departures follow the news that defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will not return in 2021 and are part of a larger coaching staff shake-up that is expected to end with a new offensive coordinator.

So Houston finally got their man Caserio, has Houston checked to see the draft classes Nick has his name tied too lately? I get the Bill shops for the groceries part but still, the groceries didn't seem to sour until he came aboard imo. In any case good luck with the Texans, thankfully we will see some change, hopefully for the better as it can not get much worse then the last couple years of draft classes here.

Would not mind seeing him move on either, I have never been a fan of his and having the greatest qb ever in your system can clearly cover for many deficiencies. It is also said his influence in regards to drafting is also high on the list here, look at his time in Denver and i see a lot of the same patterns of mediocrity in selecting talent.

I think Lawrence is better than Watson was at Clemson, and Watson in my opinion had better WRs.
I think so much of a young QB's development is the team and coaches around him. I hope the Jaquars build something around Lawrence.

Speaking of Watson, what's this about trading him to the Dolphins for Tua and the #3 and # 18 picks? I'd take Watson over Tua, but that's too much!!!

I wonder who will be the new Dolphins OC?
