I already know the history of the Reid kids. The league isn't going to micromanage who a team has as a low level assistant, they will leave that to the discretion of the franchise and step in, as far as discipline, when they feel the franchise isn't handling it to their liking.
Whatever the case, the league isn't afraid of upsetting Andy Reid. |

Sounds like whoever got Wentz gave up 2 firsts for him and basically got hosed. They're waiting to announce it after the Superbowl to not steal headlines. If a team got fleeced, surely it was my Bears? ![]() I might renounce my fandom for a few years. Wait until Nagy is thrown to the curb. It is quite amazing that the dude went from NFL Coach of the Year and loved by fans, to a bum loathed by the fans in only 3 years. |

Happy Super Sunday!
Kickoff seems soooo far away, but it'll be here before you know it, and so will the end of the season. ![]() So, enjoy the day, enjoy the game...no matter the result...because you only get so many Super Sundays in a lifetime. ![]() |

The NFL and NFLPA deserve a lot of credit for pulling it off. Heck of a job given the circumstances.

KC police have NOT released the results of the sobriety test Reid is still in the hospital as of yesterday's report. The case is still open and KC police have said it should take a couple weeks before Jackson County would file charges. From the Kansas City Star: On Saturday, Kansas City Police spokesman Capt. Dave Jackson said that the crash investigation could take weeks to complete. Investigators would need toxicology, crash reconstruction results and interviews from witnesses. The case file would then be presented to the Jackson County prosecutor, who will determine whether criminal charges would be filed. “Most criminal investigations take weeks to investigate. This is no different,” Jackson said in an email statement. “We treat each case with respect regardless of who is involved.” For some reason, I can't post KC Star links. For those interested there is a good column reminding us the most important factor today is the health of the 5 year who is still in the hospital. There is a second article about a Go Fund Me page set up (and verified by the Star) to help pay the hospital costs for the family. I'd encourage anyone interested to visit the Star's site for those articles. Last edited by ronboster; 02-07-2021 at 12:29 PM. Reason: typo |

Should he coach the SB ... probably not until this is all resolved. Will he coach that's up to KC. For now pray for the 5 year old, but please stick to the facts and back them up with actual sources not what is in your head. |

Should they restructure for later years (when things "should" be back to normal and revenue is back up)? Should they offer a player salary rollback like the NHL did during the first year of their post-lockout season in 2005? Should they allow teams one amnesty buyout (release one player free of any cap hit)? Any other bright ideas on how to handle this? There's almost no chance of the PA agreeing to the latter two (the NBA and NHL similarly voted with their wallets during the 2020 post-Covid offseason), but something should be done out of fairness to teams in their natural lack of preparation. |
