The guy washed out of the league by age 30. Not due to injuries, but due to mental instability. That is unless you consider the Burfict hit a contributing factor... which is possible.

Covid has affected our lives deeply, none more than making us realize that with all our scientific advances, many people, including celebrities and athletes we see on TV, still can't make a video phone call that doesn't look like it is coming from Mars through a tin can.

A pic of Winfield Jr throwing up the peace sign to a dejected Tyreek Hill is my new screensaver.

Do you used to root against him because he was in the Super Bowl every year. Now he's still in it every year and its fun to root for him? Uh... ok

Perspectives change, as do people's value systems.

I used to hate Tom Brady* but, at a certain point, greatness demands your attention and respect. Especially when you yourself get older and you realize how difficult it is to even just keep things level in your own life...and then you watch this pro athlete's career not only continue on, but also redefine our expectations of what is possible within it.

It's the relentless drive and pursuit of perfection by Brady at this point which really transcends sports. I just can't hate on it anymore.

* You can put "Michael Jordan" in place of "Tom Brady" and get pretty much the same sentiment from me, albeit with the caveat of what I deem to be an almost unhealthy competitiveness by Jordan.

I was mad seeing Brady constantly in the SB but this year he proved to me how good he is. Season didn’t start out well so I thought maybe being on a different team had an effect but nope.

Part of me likes seeing the great ones go out on top. The other part never wants them to leave because they’re a connection to a different time. I was 19 or 20 when Brady won his 1st ring. This morning I just helped one of our kids move into his first apartment. The longevity is insane.

Inspirational guy. Glad he stuck it to all of his haters tonight too. A lot of Brady hate on twitter by kids.

Should he coach the SB ... probably not until this is all resolved. Will he coach that's up to KC. For now pray for the 5 year old, but please stick to the facts and back them up with actual sources not what is in your head.
Every news article I’ve seen says he admitted to the officer he had been drinking and they found beer cans in his vehicle and he failed the sobriety test that everyone takes when a officer thinks they have been drinking. Any other normal person that fails it gets cuffed right away and put in a cell those are the FACTS. He is getting special treatment cause he works for the Chiefs organization and that entire area worships anyone who works for The KC Chiefs. I know that I grew up there nothing will happen he won’t be charged no matter what and NFL and The Chiefs will push this under the rug. Just like KY3 news station here in Missouri buried that story when usually they repost the same stories 100 times a day but they only posted that once and never again.

This. He admitted to drinking and driving. The guy incriminated himself. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law for this crap. But hey, he's Andy Reid's son, so I'm sure he'll manage to get his way out of it. Hope I'm wrong and some tough prosecutor is willing to go hard on this.

He has before now his daddy has deep pockets and has the Hunt family backing him. But he doesn’t really need them cause it happened in Kansas City so they will make something up that will get him off the hook.

Part of this is due to age. I'm 40 and he's 43. He's the only active QB in my general age bracket.

Part of this is due to sticking it to the NFL/ESPN cognoscenti who keep saying that his pocket passing style of play makes him a dinosaur in a new world. They say this during the game, pre-game, days leading up to the game, and days/weeks/years after the game when there isn't actual football on TV.

I suppose that's a sort of stick it to the man thing. I'm a Rams fan, not a Patriots fan. And part is due to evolving with age.

I also like to have some sort of team or person to root for during the remaining playoff/SB games after my team is eliminated (we made it part of the way).

I can barely look at the before and after pictures of that adorable little girl without feeling both sadness and rage. She was a beautiful, happy little girl just a week ago. Now, she looks like a completely different person, fighting for her life. Even if she miraculously pulls through this, which I hope is the case, her life will never be the same.

Are you replying to the wrong post or something? I was talking about Antonio Brown washing out at 30, not Brady.
