For those two teams that won with a qb on a rookie deal, would you like for them to sign a new quarterback every 4 or 5 years? I don't think any NFL team would actually do that, and that's well into theoretical/imaginary territory.

Speaking of the theoretical: if KC were to let Mahomes just walk, I think Arrowhead Stadium would resemble something of a post-apocalyptic movie, with a torched out carcass of a stadium and flipped over cars in the parking lot.

George Springer
Russell Westbrook
James Harden
DeAndre Hopkins
JJ Watt

Going back to 2019, you can throw in Jadeveon Clowney, Tyrann Mathieu, Gerrit Cole and Chris Paul. DeShaun Watson would be the icing on the cake.

There will be some 10-6 to 8-8 seasons during Patrick's time at KC. I will say, we as fan base have a lot of confidence in Brett Veach/GM.

I've heard the NHL has a duplicate "travel" Cup for teams to take around after they win.
