As a Lions and football fan I find this statement to be offensive. However as a Lions fan I would take 2 great year with Rogers as Lions QB over 9 mediocre with Stafford. Whomever wins with this farce of a team will be the official GOAT QB surpassing Brady cause my team sucks!

100 DAYS....
Ive seen a few people mention how this is a bad wk1 matchup for DAL due to dak not 100% yet & breaking in new def. Not to me. This game was a probably a loss in any wk of the season. Get it over with wk 1. Then the sched gets gets easier after that with DAL being the fav in 3 of the next 4. |

Personally, I never get too overly caught up on match ups cuz the ones that look good on paper are sometimes trash and the ones that folks overlook/don't even watch turn out to be exciting. Not to mention no one knows jack squat about how a team is gonna gel and perform given so much turnover from year to year in the NFL.

The talk about Philly making a push worries me. I doubt we can afford him, I don't wanna give up that much to get him (we need our 2022 first-rounders), and IIRC hasn't he been hurt a lot in recent seasons?

I did read that ONE team offered a 1st for Julio...we shall see. He's been too injured to justify that. |

And what category is that? Where did I even remotely reply “all Lions fans”? I was referring to two specific people and I even put it in bold text. No need to create some fake outrage over a silly post. And to top it off, you respond by saying your team sucks lol. A lot worse than what I said if you ask me.

Julio has tended to get banged up his whole career to this point. He’s just an elite WR so the Falcons dealt with it.

As far as last year, I get what you're saying (and truthfully without doing any research), I'm wondering if the pandemic skewed towards teams with overall solid organizations that had a plan in place as to how to navigate one of the most unpredictable offseasons ever. |

![]() Judging by my post? The one where I sincerely asked for an honest opinion because I genuinely didn't know who else was in the running, a valid candidate last season? That one Whoever your candidate was and the reasons for it may have swayed me. Who knows? But this comment coupled with calling Dragon's comment "offensive" (which came across as obvious joke, good natured ribbing due to you being a fan of a team that plays in Rodgers division) indicates there may be more going on here, which I don't know if you are trolling and committed to the bit or ![]() |

The MVP award can go to someone with the best stats, in which case, very hard to go against Rodgers, even if I hate the guy. There’s a few other QBs that did have comparable numbers. Look at Brady - for example, the guy is the oldest QB in the league, switches teams, and takes the team and wins a SB. I know the MVP is a regular season award, so the playoffs don’t make a difference, but the MVP could and perhaps should go to who truly is the most valuable player to a team. It’s not like Tampa had any recent success, so the change he made for the team is astonishing. To answer your question, who should be the MVP? My vote would not be a QB, despite the award being 99% QB. I have to go with Derrick Henry here. From a statistical standpoint, he led the league in running statistics, and he also brings the most value for his team’s success. You take Henry out, and Tennessee has no offense. |
