With the Cowboys losing to the Cardinals. I still think the Giants can rally and make the postseason. Typical coached as Couglin team I've been through it all when he was with the Jags, but the Giants will keep fighting and will find a way.

Do Green Bay receivers ever make average looking catches? Seems like some of the time they make amazing catches and other times they drop easy catches.

Aaron Rodgers had a QB rating of 106.2. First time all season his QB Rating was below 110! Holy cow!

He's still a mediocre coach. Couglin is easily one of the worst Super Bowl winning coaches ever.

If the Packers kept winning I think they will go for 16-0 even if they clinch home field advantage in the playoffs. If I was Green Bay I would play all my starters even if I had clinched home field advantage in the playoffs. I would go for 16-0 and 19-0.

He's going to smash Peyton Manning's 121 QB rating.

EDIT - at first I thought Brady had the record.

Considering Green Bay plays Detroit at home in the 16th game I doubt they sit their starters. Do you really think they're going to allow their streak to end at home in the snow to the Lions?

He's going to smash Brady's single-season 117 QB rating. He's beating that record by a good 10 points.
Rodgers rate dropped to 125.3. It's going to come down to the wire to beat Manning's 121.1

No I don't think they are going to sit their starters to give the Lions a better chance of winning. I even said in my last post that I don't think Green Bay will sit their starters. I was responding to you when you said "The only way I can see Green Bay getting beat is if they don't play their starters in their last 1 or 2 games".

if it were up to rodgers, he'd be in there even if they have home field locked up.

and on a side note....the packers locked up a playoff spot today.

Poor "Old Gunslinger." Aaron Rodgers is trumping everything he accomplished in his career before the age of 30. Already matched Favre in Super Bowl wins and has a Super Bowl MVP Favre never won.

Remember when people were calling for the heads of Packers management for not bringing Favre back? Whatever happened to those people?

they've either been converted to rodgers fans or are in hiding....believe it or not, once in a while a favre supporter/rodgers hater will pop their head up long enough to get a verbal tongue lashing from me.

Not to mention the iron man streak plus countless passing records, but whatever. Let's not discount what Favre has done even though most people think he's a douche.

The regular season MVP's will take longer to break. Rodgers will get his first this season. That being said one of Favre's MVP's was stolen from Barry Sanders. Everyone with half a brain knew Barry should have been the sole winner of the 1997 MVP award with 2,053 rushing yards.

Favre was a terrific QB. He just made a lot of truly terrible decisions in big games that very often cost his teams the game. He played on some really great teams yet won only one ring. This wasn't a situation like Dan Marino where he just wasn't on a team good enough to win rings. Favre had his chances and usually blew it.
