Today the Cowboys, Bears, Falcons, Lions, and Giants all lost. No movement in the NFC playoff picture.

I like reading stuff like "the best 4-8 team"... Fear the Dolphins, we're going to play the spoilers...

So a lot of Cowboys fans still don't think Jason Garrett is a bad HC/OC, what do you non-Cowboys fans on here think about that? I think he needs to be fired tomorrow but Jerry is in love with him so I doubt it will happen.

Well, I think their Thanksgiving record is overrated(and I'm the one who brought that up last week) since they always play at home and the visiting team has to travel on a short week. Yes, I'm still bitter about last week...

At least it got your crappy replacement kicker cut, although that may have had as much to do with the fact that Carpenter got healthier.

Trying to ice the kicker is stupid, and icing your own kicker is even stupider, but it is just a stupid mistake, I don't think Garrett deserves to be fired just because of that.

No Garrett deserves to be fired because he's a mediocre to bad offensive coordinator that doesn't get any better and he coaches not to lose, which actually causes you to lose a lot of the time. We don't have the RIGHT personnel to match his coaching style but he doesn't seem to realize that. Giants are going to stomp a mudhole in us at Jerryworld and I hope the fans that are there really get mad about it.

I think he's done better as HC then he was doing under Wade, still I wouldn't want him. He's also fortunate enough he's got enough talent to mask some of his bad coaching.

If Garrett doesn't trust Romo, which it's pretty clear at this point he doesn't, then one or the other _has_ to go, or the Cowboys will never go anywhere.

And frankly I think it should be Garrett to go. His "safe" play-calling lately would have made them get destroyed by the Jets and Lions earlier in the year, so there wouldn't even have been a chance for Romo to turnover-away the game.

Plus I think this team is only as good as Romo. Get rid of Romo and this team would be 3-13.

I'd rather watch the rollercoaster Cowboys than the safe-but-every-game-goes-to-overtime Cowboys.

As a loyal diehard Cowboys fan I couldnt agree with you more Darth. You should hear how Garrett is getting slammed on Mike And Mike in the morning on ESPN. I can only imagin what Skip Bayless is going to say on 1st And 10 this morning. As for Cowboys getting a mudhole stomped in them Sunday Night against the Giants? I hope not but wont be surprised if it does happen.

The Lions are out of control and are killing themselves with penalties. It's going to be tough to win games when you have over 100 yards in penalties and after a second down near the end zone have a player (I think it was Titus Young) push another player and get a personal foul while the ref is trying to hold him back. They have a complete lack of discipline and I think it starts with their coach, who should be getting blasted for his team's lack of discipline but somehow is hardly getting criticized.

If Graham Gano had made that OT field goal against Dallas you guys would be right in the thick of things.

Yeah it's tough to watch these guys self-destruct. Even Stafford is guilty of it. If Schwartz is truly as smart as they say he is, he needs to reel the team in NOW. I'm glad one of the OL guys lost it after the game and yelled at everyone. If the coaches aren't doing it, the players need to do it. No one feels sorry for them for being 0-16 anymore. They could have 9 wins already this year.

I'm expecting an announcement today or tomorrow that in week 15 NBC will flex out the scheduled Chargers-Ravens game for the Patriots-Broncos. I'd guess they'll wait until tomorrow since the Chargers play tonight but regardless if they win or lose I can't imagine NBC won't go with a Brady vs. Tebow matchup.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. I hate it when the Pats get flexed.

I'm thrilled! I feel like I've seen the Chargers 43 times already this year.

My luck, I'm sure it'll by Jets/Eagles because the networks just can't stand NOT putting them on TV.

But why not Lions/Raiders? Aren't both teams fighting for playoff spots?
