But you do see Sacks, INT’s, fumbles, crazy ass catches and runs cause alot of times either nobody is in the redzone or they show that stuff on tape afterwards.
Even if your watching your team theres always commercials, halftime etc.
& if youre watching just 1 game you miss whats going on in the other games.

Red zone doesn't really appeal to me and I'm a fantasy player. I'm sure it's amazing to bettors like dcowboy7.

Like now is a perfect example.
TNF is halftime.
On a sunday i could put redzone on & see other games if my game was car/hou.

1:00 was too early for a saturday.
So now 2 saturday then 3 sunday then 1 monday.

I actually have this saved since this comes up alot....

Saturday is the worst tv night.
Same reason oscars arent saturday.
Alot of casual fans that stay home sunday night would go out saturday night.
If the games a blowout you would lose even more people.
More people work saturday night like stores etc than sunday night.
The network with the super bowl always gets great ratings from show that follows the super bowl so you would def lose alot of that too.
Same thing with pregame alot less would watch saturday then sunday.
Also theres been studies that show the host city wouldnt make as much $$ since youre shortening the weekend.

+ what do we do sunday then ?

Those are excellent points, and while I still wouldn't mind Saturday either way, they just need to declare the following Monday a national holiday already.

I just remembered I get a floating holiday for President's Day, too. Might have to start using those as well.

But I do admit that it hasn't really been an issue as I've been telecommuting since 2006. Getting up and commuting to my desk 30 ft isn't exactly tough, but I just like to have days off anyway.

Or just get the NFL to change it to Saturday which is FAR easier than getting the government to declare it a holiday.

It should take this circumstance for it to happen though.

I think the 2/3/1 format will be a nice change.

No doubt done in mind I think to extend the playoffs for another day in Vegas.

I despise the fact that just because I live in Oregon I get robbed of watching the Rams/Bucs game just because the NFL assumes that everyone in the Pacific Northwest wants to see every Seahawks game.

...it freaking sucks.
