If the Chargers get out of the gates and score another TD. It's over for the Jags as we aren't known to make comebacks after the Mark Brunell era.

It's over.

Rivers is picking on our 1st year CB's who are just simply getting burnt. I kind of miss Mathis and Cox out there.

By far. At least the 4-12 expansion team of 1995 can be justified since no expansion team ever does well. This season there's no excuse. The team isn't even showing any promise late in the season. If anything we're going backwards. And judging by the performance tonight getting rid of Del Rio isn't providing any spark.

Yeah, it's about evaluating everyone from the roster to the coaches. I was hoping for some improvement. Our defense played terrible tonight, just like last season.

It's been a flip-flop each year Del Rio was coach. We are elite on defense, but with one of the worst on offenses. The past 2 seasons, we had the playoffs in our hands, but our defense let us down in December and we had a solid offense with Garrard.

I lost this week to go 10-3 (looks like I'll be in first place based on points after tonight though for the regular season ) and I managed to do that without drafting a single Ratbird or Squeeler on my team.......

I'd rather lose than have those guys on my fantasy team

When we are losing, that's when Gabbert plays his worse. Defenses bring the heat, Gabbert afraid to step in the pocket and complete his mechanics in passing. That's what I hate about him. He's afraid to get hit and he flinches way too early before the contact.

I just looked at our team record by season and all-time our record is 136-130. At the rate we're going we'll probably go back to being <.500 all-time for the first time in many years not long from now.

I was actually a little surprised we have a winning record all-time. Though now that I think about it we almost always end up winning 5 to 11 games each season. We don't have many terrible teams or great teams. We have just one 4 loss or worse season and only two >11 win seasons.

Our only highlight when you talk about the regular season is the Tom Coughlin team in 99-00 as we went 14-3. Those 3 losses came to the Tennessee Titans which still irks me to this day

At least Coughlin took us to 2 AFC Championship games and 5/7 years into the playoffs. Seems like a loonnggg time ago.

You're right though, we could be backwards and finish under .500 next year and might not see any real progress until the 2013 season.

I'd be happy if MJD can beat McCoy for the rushing title. He's closing in.

The way the Jags offense runs. They are a run first team. With Gabbert struggling and not building any confidence to make the coaches call pass plays. MJD will get the full load and get that rushing title.

Unbelievable. Another bad snap. It's bed time.

EDIT: Are you serious? Another score? Count this as one of our worst losses at home in our history.

Yeah San Diego has one of those offenses that can go off and you have an injured defense, not surprised by the final score of your game at all.

Amazing to me how badly sportscasters want to like San Diego.

You'd think they just stomped the Packers 38-14 instead of the Jags the way people are talking about this game and the Chargers in general.

That's pretty lame. I'm kinda proud that I lost to Moviefan just because the Dolphins neutralized Michael Bush...I shoul have listened to myself and benched him.

Yep, the Colts have made the playoffs every year in AFC South history, winning the division 7 out of 9 times (Titans won the other 2) and getting the Wild Card the other 2 years.
