If the Ravens win out (which is entirely possible, Colts, Chargers, Browns, Bengals in a row) then they should have 1st AFC seed by all tie-breakers listed on NFL.com. They would have the same record, same conference record, and better division record than the Patriots. (assuming they win out too)

Yep, I'm with you. 2-3 years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of voluntarily missing a Sunday night game. I've only watched 5-6 this year because the matchups are laughable.

Trent Williams 4-game suspension for testing positive for marijuana multiple times is going to cost him some serious money. He's going to miss 4 game checks which will total $1.847 million. In addition depending on his contract's language he also could potentially lose $125,000 of his signing bonus and $375,000 of his roster bonus. So his inability to not smoke weed cost him at least $1.847 million and as much as $2.347 million.

Sale of Packers Stock Turns Paper Into An Amazing Business

The shares are said to have an actual value of about 3 cents, but the Packers are selling them for $250 each.

It offers almost no benefits other than a place at the annual meeting and a piece of paper proving that you're an owner. The shares haven't been approved by the SEC, don't appreciate and won't move you up the season ticket waiting list.

So why do the Packers do this?

Well, because they are remarkably good at selling almost nothing for a lot of money.

Packers fans better read the fine print, which says: "If the Commissioner of the NFL decides that a shareholder of an NFL member club has been guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the NFL then, among other things, the Commissioner has the authority to fine such sharehold in an amount not in excess of $500,000."

The terms also say that if it is found that a shareholder has bet on an NFL game, Roger Goodell could fine them as much as $5,000 and force them to sell his or her stock.

Why would anyone do that!?! Even if you had something cool like voting rights if you aren't making any money what does it matter? With 4,031 passing yards, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is on pace to throw for 5,374 yards.

With 3,916 passing yards, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is on pace to throw for 5,221 yards.

And with 3,844 passing yards, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on pace to throw for 5,125 yards.

Neither do the Patriots for that matter. Yeah the Law Firm gets yards and TD's but that is solely because everyone defends the pass against NE. Anyone can get 4 ypc with Tom Brady throwing to Welker/Gronk/Branch/Hernandez looming.

Looks like if ravens, pats, texans all win out seeding is:

1 ravens
2 pats
3 texans
4 broncos or raiders
5 steelers most likely
6 ??

That would mean tebow plays the steelers in a wildcard game.

Guessing 6 will be the runner-up in the AFC West, don't see any wild cards coming from the AFC East or South.

I wouldn't rule out the Bengals, they play the Rams and the Cards.

According to beat writer Tom Pelissero, Vikings OC Bill Musgrave is "not exactly oozing confidence" about Christian Ponder's (hip) chances of playing in Week 14.
Musgrave noted that Ponder "didn't look good" walking around on Wednesday. Previous indications suggested Ponder would attempt to play through the pain, but it turns out there's more swelling than expected. Joe Webb is tentatively penciled in as the Vikes' starting quarterback versus the Lions, putting a dent in Percy Harvin's fantasy value.

I'm just glad the Jets will miss the playoffs, they've already lost to both the Raiders and Tebows so tiebreakers will kill them.

Only way they get in is if they win out and there are no guaranteed wins in their last 3 games.
