No doubt he climbed into the ejecto seat and pulled the GTFO lever!

Not sure if he had anything to do with some of those terrible contracts given out by that franchise, but they clearly are on a downward trend. Personally, I don't get the hype surrounding him but no doubt some teams will give him a blank check to fill in Imo.

A Chiefs' fan has been reaching out to other Chiefs fans and asking ppl to donate $13 in honor of Josh Allen, Bills and Bills Mafia. The money goes to Patricia Allen Fund at Child's Hospital of Buffalo.

Here's an article

Much respect to a great organization in the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. It's an honor to donate.

So, the thing with Payton is that he still has three years left on his contract with New Orleans. He can’t just decide to sign with anyone.

I really thinks hes taking the yr off maybe just pop up on tv for a few shows but no coaching.
Then when mccarthy gets fired jan 2023 he can take DAL job.
DAL would have to give NO some compensation like a draft pick.

Pretty much what I alluded to in my previous post.

MarketWatch - NFL’s Odell Beckham Jr. took his $750,000 salary in bitcoin — how much did that end up costing him?

https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/sta...14361312915456

The twitter link shows how much he took home for the year ($35,703 real dollars for the year, after taxes and bitcoin devaluation.)

Odell Beckham Jr. is a Real American Crypto Hero who plays for the love of the game and not for the salary.

Because it feels a lot like the Favre situation at this point. He may even retire and un-retire a million times before he really walks away.

A million times...at his advanced football age?

Sometimes Odell does dumb things, like that time he took the wide receivers to south beach before a game in Lambeau.

Wall Street Journal - These Kansas City Chiefs Fans Stopped Watching With 13 Seconds Left. Oops.
Patrick Mahomes led the team to victory in one of the greatest games in NFL history; ‘staring at each other in disbelief’

(probably paywalled, I suggest a library membership for WSJ articles)

Some of the fans who left the game were season ticket holders, others turned off the TV. I suppose the timeouts and commercial breaks extend the last seconds of the game into the last 10 minutes of the game.

Exactly. If any team wanted to snatch him before 2024 they would have to compensate the Saints.

I just looked at my text exchange with my buddy with a minute left:

Ya, ya, ya (after Tyreek scored)
(F bomb) whole minute left
I wish Tyrann was in there
I think about how quick the Bills scored before half
Crap
Need a Sack
Hold them for 3 plays
F-bomb
It's the best we could do with all the injuries
That FG before half killed us plus the extra pt
Not enough time left
OMG

I certainly didn't think 13 seconds was enough time to get into FG range.

If you haven't seen the NFL films video clip of the 13 seconds remaining, it's pretty cool:

An even bigger incentive for Aaron Rodgers to want to go to Denver.
