So they're taking even more regular season games out of the fans hands that already overpay for the game experience. Makes perfect sense. I can't imagine the owners are all too happy about their stadiums being empty for a regular season game.

It’s speculated the eventual plan is to have 16 international games a season. That way all teams can have 8 home games, 8 road games, and 1 neutral site game.

Yep that was 1 of the reasons they added the 17th game.
Also the USA market has basically hit its saturation point & theres alot of $$ to be made overseas.
Always remember this is a $$ business.

I found it complete and total cringe 90% of the time myself.

And i agree, taking games away from season ticket paying fans is a trash move, looks like now they want the big game to be held in europe at some point too.

Roger no doubt looking for a legacy other than fake made up witch hunts like deflategate, blind eyes to racism among team owners while trying to portray yourselves as not being such, ignored violent outburst from the leagues players. Roger has had quite the ride so far as commissioner and no the league's success right now has to do with two things, sports betting becoming mainstream and popular, and fantasy of course!

Take those two away from the NFL and it drastically reduces viewership imo! It is the main reason why the league is trying to ignore the fact Flores was essentially fired for not throwing games to better their draft choice in Miami!
