On NFLN gmfb this morning they did an april fools bit.
Someone asked if a kicker was ever mvp - most said NO - rachel got it right.
There was - mark mosely 1982.
Was a strike shortened 9 games season & offense wasnt as prevalent as now.
Whats shocking to me is how people that actually work for NFLN dont know what i consider to be basic knowledge of nfl history.
Either im just getting old or smart or both.

I can't find any part of this deal that I don't like, he is under control at a good number for the next couple seasons and we didn't give up much with a middle of the pack 3rd rounder next season, not to mention we get an extra 5th in this year's draft from them.

No doubt Parker is a far better option then anything the patriots would of drafted in the 3rd round at WR imo. Kind of shocked the Dolphins would do this because they without question improved the Patriots bleak WR core situation.

As you said his health will be the key issue but I will take that chance with the pick swap.

We have to see what the real money is, but it looks like Diggs took less than I was anticipating. Most of the projections I saw were closer to the $30 million/year. I wouldn’t call it a team friendly deal, but he certainly took a bit of a haircut to help the team out.
