I can see why the Patriots has this faction of clingers because some of these fans have never seen what losing looks like, sad but true. The Jets, no offense, should be well practiced at this. I don't understand why they continue to believe this kid is anything other than mediocre. He is rightfully getting blasted on NY sports talk, if im a Jets fan im hoping for White next week!

The game yesterday imo would of been light years better for both fanbases if both backups were under center yesterday! That pretty much says it all...

Giants in for a rude awakening on Thanksgiving imo. They're a little better defensively and Saquon is healthy, but Daniel Jones is the same guy who averages almost a turnover a game.

I disagree with a few of the points in your post, but suffice to say that he could have at least saved some face taking full accountability of that abysmal performance during the presser much like Josh Allen did when we beat BUF. Instead, he bristled at the media and deflected the blame. Not exactly the maturity or leadership qualities you look for in your franchise QB.

The defense played well enough to win. In spite of the run game being completely shut down, had there been even mediocre QB play, we probably would have won. I think part of the problem is that they're telling him to limit costly errors (even though there were still at least 2-3 near INTs yesterday), play within the game plan and to stop with the backyard/hero ball, but unfortunately for a guy like that, it takes away part of the game that they like so much about him and what got him drafted. He's got a big arm, he's got scramble-ability and can perform those off-platform throws, but when you place limits on that type of talent, the improvisational and instinctual stuff is internalized, it becomes mental and that's where he doesn't yet possess the maturity it takes to overcome those moments.

As far as the back up Mike White, if ever there was a time mid-game to pull Zach and insert White for a spark and potential win, it was yesterday and Saleh didn't do it. Not sure why he said he didn't even consider it, but we're stuck with Zach the rest of the season so it is what it is. That being said, MW is certainly not the answer.
