Go Chiefs. Hope Mahomes and Kelce get healthy enough to stomp those dirty Eagles.

Crazy thing is I don't get the impression this Chiefs team around Mahomes is all that great. Like they'd be maybe a 9-8 type marginal playoff team with an average QB.

I'll say Chiefs over Eagles 31-20.
Mahomes is a generational talent. He has an aging Kelce and a bunch of JAGs but he still put up those numbers on his way to another Super Bowl.

Still remember when people laughed about that 10 year, $500 million contract.

Well, you either have Mahomes or you have anyone else.

Next to impossible for Mahomes to ever become "Tom Brady great," But I can easily see him ending up a top-5 QB of all-time, maybe the 2nd best of all-time, on par with the next few names, like Montana and Peyton Manning. Heck, if he wins his 2nd ring here, he'll already equal Peyton's ring count and Peyton's 2nd ring was in spite of him not because of him.

You simply cannot overpay a once in a historically great QB like Mahomes. His value to the Chiefs completely dwarfs even the $500 million contract.

Have to say I'm surprised at the spread. Seemed like the Chiefs were expected to be favored by a point or two over the Eagles, but the line is Eagles favored by 1.5. I'm just not seeing Philly as the better team. People are reading way too much into that NFC title game blowout, where the Niners never had a chance due to Purdy going out at the beginning of the game.

Yep KC opened 1.5 fav but now PHI is 2 fav.
The team that gets the early line move is on an 11-4 run.

For me the Bengals/Chiefs was the Superbowl this year.

I predict the Eagles will defeat the Refs but I don't plan to watch.

If Tom Brady goes to the Dolphins I'll be tuning into that and possibly trying to go to some of those games. It's just sentimentality but I like the Dolphins and Brady. Until then, I'm out. Time to focus more on other interests.

My take on the game:

On Def in the first quarter you lost Sneed, the top def. back for the Chiefs. During most of the game you had 3 rookies in the backfield. They all had impact on the game.

On the off. side, Watson a scratch, we lost Toney and Hardman during the game. JuJu was hobbled with a knee injury. Kelce and Mahomes as we all know banged up. When you have Marcus Kemp who was signed to the practice squad in week 2 (elevated for this game), who is taking important snaps as a receiver in the 4th quarter.....

On the final possession, Skyy Moore in taking kicks (after being benched for part of the season for multiple fumbled punts/kicks during the season). And finally, Butker who had his worst season by far...makes the final score.

You may hate the Chiefs, Mahomes or Kelce....but you can't deny the team's grit.

Got to feel for the Bengals, the refs clearly were not helping them out any during that entire game. I understand that yes that hit was late, but Mahomes turned himself into a running back, and should be treated as one and not a chance in hell would one get that call in that spot! Not to mention the poor defensive player nearly twisted his leg off trying to pull up and avoid at the last moment.

Not sure that kick even makes the cross bar if even 2 more yards out.

They have to call that. Even a running back would get that call. The shove was made so far out of bounds, that he was even beyond one of his teammates that was already standing out of bounds.

I have to wonder, if all the bulletin board material a few of the Bengals players and Cincy mayor gave them, gave KC enough additional motivation to affect the outcome of the game. Mahomes and Kelce were clearly over performing considering their injury status.

The refs had a few bad moments, but the Chiefs still deserved to win. The Eagles though, are going to be a real tough match up for them. Just nasty lines on both sides of the ball.

Shirts available from local tshirt companies this am. So I'd say based on Kelce, he heard the Bengals and their Mayor. I think it helped this team reach a little deeper. Loved Kelce pulling out WWE vibes on National TV with Nantz (commenting on the Cincy mayor's tweets) "“Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni!"

I don't care about either of the super bowl teams this year but I care far less about if you believe me or not. I don't even know you.

Cheers,

Riiiight. 90% of the people watching the SB will not care about either team. They will still watch.

I'm fully done debating this with you.

Troll on good buddy, if you get real good at it maybe you'll be banned someday and find something better to do.

Keep posting in a thread about a game you don't care about or directly to someone who's opinion you don't care about. We totally believe you! LOL
