Does it really matter with the team were discussing. 1 Playoff win since 1955 and how many 1 and done exits? I think Lions fans have earned the right to question stupid decisions like the one made in this years draft. Every Regime seems to have them.

Matt Millen was 5 Receivers year after year after year

Martin Mayhew - Stafford, Calvin, and Suh (the Good), not to mention Titus Young Fiasco (The Bad) but for the most part picks from this era out of league in 2-3 years. (The Ugly)

Bob Quinn - Pisspoor Coach in the rocket scientist (ill admit I was wrong about the scientist I wanted him for years from Patriot's). But 2x TE taken in the 1st round of 3 total 2 by the Lions WTF.

Huh? My comment had nothing to do with what y'all were discussing. It was an overall generalization about the draft.

Trust me, as a fellow Lions fan, I understand all too well (unfortunately) the history the franchise as had. I still can’t believe Millen was extended instead of fired. William Clay Ford was a horrible owner when it came to the franchise’s success. Thankfully, his daughter is seemingly polar opposite. I thought Bob Quinn would be the man to start charging the course along with Matt Patricia, but we saw how that turned out - and unlike what WCF would have done, these two were fired.

But Holmes actually has a proven track record, John Dorsey has always been one heck of a scout, and Dan Campbell clearly had the team going in the right direction. So I guess I’m not dwelling on the dreadful past, and the current regime has not given me a reason to question the decision making. I trust them, and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out.

Former Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III has pled guilty to one count of DUI resulting in death and one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. He now faces 3-10 years in prison.

I'd say even the high end of that range is light given the crime. The guy was driving 156 MPH, at double the legal limit, killing a woman and her dog.

A friend of my family got 12 years in prison several years ago on a DUI that was at least less reckless (she was about 1.5x the limit, going 60 in a 40 zone, killing one person) than Ruggs's situation. This person I know had wealthy family and the best attorneys too.

Former Las Vegas Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III unconditionally waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday and will plead guilty to one count of DUI resulting in death and one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in a 2021 case in which he's accused of killing a woman in a car crash.

According to a plea agreement presented Tuesday in Las Vegas justice court, Ruggs will serve three to 10 years in Nevada state prison. The case now moves to the 8th Judicial District Court for a hearing on May 10, when he is expected to formally plead guilty.

Ruggs attended the hearing Tuesday and, when asked whether he understood the proceedings, replied, "Yes, your honor."
