Which looks more dirty?

Both are clearly dirty hits, but if I had to pick one than the Harrison hit is a bit worse. He had more time to pick a place to hit McCoy.

Harrison put his hands up in front of him to lessen the blow and made a quick cut to pursue McCoy as a runner. Robinson squares up directly on Maclin before he even turns around, launches off of his feet and drives his helmet like a spear towards Maclin's head.

Players shouldn’t have to take that risk….they are all there to play the game, not injure someone.

To justify this kind of hit by saying it’s a game is terrible.

Me biased? I'm not the one defending Harrison. Obviously neither are hits we want to see occurring in the NFL, but Harrison's was inexcusable considering his history. Heck, it would inexcusable if it were his first ever cheap shot. There's a reason he has been getting so much flak over the past several days. I'm not alone in my theory that it looked like his motive was to hurt the kid.

If you watch further, that was Robinson's second exact hit just like that on an Eagles player. He delivered the same hit to Desean Jackson the previous time the Eagles and Falcons played one another. Harrison has not been the ONLY repeat offender, and not the only player racking up fines.

These types of fines are only being dished out to hits on "defenseless" players, i.e. QBs and WRs. I feel the penalty on the field was enough, in Thursday's game. Colt McCoy tucked the ball, ran towards the line of scrimmage as if he were running the ball and then flipped, not passed, the ball to Hardesty when he saw Harrison about ready to smack him. He got rid of the ball, last second, and drew a penalty. If Harrison were to lay that hit on a RB, there would not have even been a flag.

as a player that's been in the league for so long, harrison should know that a qb behind the line of scrimmage can and usually will throw the ball away or to another player when a def. player is bearing down on them.

a good player will keep this in mind and not go for a hit like that just for that reason.

And don’t give me the “heat of the moment” or “last min.” stuff……like I stated, a good player will keep that scenario in mind.
