Absolutely devastating for the man, reminds me of when Dak was tackled awkwardly and completely busted his ankle.

Pretty much other then compound fracturing his leg this is about as worse a injury as one could get. I was told 6-12 months to rehab and that is for younger people in their 20's. I guess never say never but just a brutal result here...

Achilles injuries(even for athletes) can linger for 2+ years. Just affects everything you do and it can be a death sentence for a RB's career, regardless of age. Inability to properly fire off your foot probably makes doing most things properly at the NFL level impossible.

Former Buccaneers and Bills WR Mike Williams passed away this morning, his agent confirmed to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Williams was injured while doing electrical work and was on life support, but recovering.

Rest in peace.
