How much of their shortcomings can you really pin on Mac, though? Having 3 different OCs/schemes in each of your first three years in the league, including a DC who sucked as a HC in year 2 (which was beyond stupid and destined to blow up in their face ) would seriously hamper any QB's development. Sure, he has an actual OC this year, but the damage might be done having to learn yet another new offense already instead of sticking with what worked in year 1. He showed promise in his rookie year and like they always say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, especially with that (looking at you, Patricia).

I know it is Wednesday, but I have been super busy since Monday and couldn't find time for myself, lol. I just would love to say the game in London this past Sunday was so well organized! And I had a super fun time at the game that afternoon.

That was my first NFL game, and I didn't know what to expect. To my surprise, they transformed all the storefronts and stalls inside Wembley Stadium into a Jags home colors by switching everything to the Jags' turquoise/purple. Not only that, the NFL made merchandise of all 32 teams available though primarily Jags' and Falcons' ones are more prominent. I got myself a Cardinals scarf (what can I say? I used to live in AZ), a miniature London Games helmet and the final London Games 2023 commemorative collector's coin. Another thing that caught my attention was how well crowd control was done, but I think that has more to do with Wembley than with the NFL. With well over 85,000 fans at the stadium, I never once felt claustrophobic, and we had no trouble getting out of the stadium after the game. I honestly didn't realize there were so many people at the game until they announced the total attendance toward the end. All in all, it was a great experience for a first-time attendee. Cheers.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I often wonder what it would be like to attend a game abroad. I have a friend from the gym going to the Chiefs v Dolphins game in Germany. Can't wait for a report on what that was like for their family.

as a Niner fan we had experience with this when the team went through this when Alex Smith underwent multiple OC's and HC's within his first five years in the league, until Harbaugh arrived. The difference here was underneath the ineptness of the SF front office at the time, you could still see Smith had something there that was untapped, some may have called him a game manager sure but he made the right decisions, the smart ones, at the right times. The postseason run he made in 2011 Harbaugh loosened the reigns and opened up the playbook a little more and Smith proved he could ball out - 29 yd bootleg run for TD, TD pass to Davis in traffic, over the middle - standout moments for him. I point these out because so far Jones has not had any kind of positive standout moments to make you think - there's something there. I think pointing at multiple OC's over multiple years absolutely has some validity but there is an expiration on that at some point.
Take the issue of musical chairs at the OC out of the equation, at the end of the day its a Belichick team - he is GM and HC.
While I don't get a chance to see a lot of Pats games, I see "highlights" and look at stats. But lately Bill Simmons has just given up all hope and stopped making excuses for Bill, Mac and the Pats and says the feeling is pretty much universal for Pats fans.

Attending a Bills game in Germany during Octoberfest is a dream of mine. I hope the NFL allows it to come true.

The NFL is sucking up to Taylor Swift so hard and for good reason. 2 million more women than usual tuned in for the game she was at? People who never watched any football and would never give football the time of day before are now tuning in cause of her. If just a couple of them became football fans then the NFL wins big. If they can get her to do a SB halftime show that would also be huge and probably a new viewership record.
